   Comments: so many lies are posted here by clients? its downright rediculous. Posting: in an industrial area, we are in a residential area. cant open windows., all windows operate and we are required to pass a fire dept inspection to verify that. no ice machine: ice is available machine is indoors due to winters here. threw some people out, drunk and disorderley. wrote a bad review didnt matter about the other guests they upset. No matter what Trip Advisor will not change or amend a review even if it is false.

   Comments: after finding a negative post against my business last night, by a reviewer who even admitted they didn't use our service, I found this website. I think we need to start a class action lawsuit against Trip Advisor. I will estimate how much of my earnings have been lost by Trip Advisor's approval of my defamation of character. I'm going to look into how I can get this started in Mexico because there are very strict laws against what's going on here. Keep me in the loop. I'll post the widget for this petition.

   Comments: Trip advisor has made business hard with our competition regularily posting bad reviews about our company, these are people who post only once and they are also posts that are un true and defamotry to our company, we have tried many times to have this resolved yet we can even get a response from them to our emails or letters.

   Comments: I had a false review posted on an advert throght holidaylettings and despite the fact that I mention to them that I had official proofs and even a police record for them to check that the reviewer was lying, they just ignore this and ask me to comment on him. I cancelled everything with them and told them that the day us, home owners, can also post reviews on tenants so that other hard working home owners can decide whether or not to accommodate certain people, I'll come back. Meanwhile, TripAdvisot is just one sided and unnacurate website.

   Comments: I find trip advisor a complete farce, it does not show a true reflection of a business as only 1% of happy customers will review and 100% of moaning minies who you will never please review. its disgusting that the owners of the site allow some of the comments that people write, i feel it is a form of cyber bulling and should not be allowed. I have tryed to have some comments removed but they are uninterested, even though they clearly breach there own guidlines. I can see the original idea behind it but sadly it has not been used for this purpose. it is now a site that faceless idividuals can write what they like true or not with no comeback or relization of what damage there comments can do. its digusting.

    Comments: Keep up the good work! I never asked to go on Trip Advisor and I asked TA for my company to be removed before any reviews were submitted, they refused point blank. Everything was fine until a competitor decided it was a good idea to write a fake review about us. We could prove it was fake, but that didn't matter to TA. Get the Truth and go!, they don't care about the Truth. Their logic is that the site is more interesting with plenty of fake negative reviews.

    Comments: Why does Trip Advisor not check owners who write their own fantastic reviews and it is quite obvious. I know one person who has a small guest house in Kalkan Turkey. She writes her own reviews and the descriptions hardly resemble reality. what can be done?

    Comments: Why does Tripadvisor ask since February for a proof of identity to hoteliers (and credit acrd number) just to access their management centre and answer reviews, but do not ask for a proof of identity to the reviewers? Hotels do not choose to be on tripadvisor therefore they should have free access while reviewers identities should be checked before allowing their content. Once again, tripadvisor is showing that all they care about is qualifying their database with names, credit card numbers of hoteliers, to mass mailing with commercial offer and business listing adverts... I'm sure that soon things will change. It's unacceptable that fake reviews can ruin a business reputation and tripavisor doesn't care about veryfing if the reviewer exists, if he/she has stayed at the hotel/restaurant...quantity will never been more important than quality. We all know now after the ASA investigation that 10M reviews and reviewers are fake. I'm sure 70% of them are fake. They don't even have the sources to check over 50k reviews a week and to have more content I noticed they have lowered the automatic filters...
