create parking for trinity college carmarthen

the parking situation at trinity college carmarthen is farcical. it's digaraceful. it's pathetic.

one excuse of a carpark for over 7000 students, many of whom travel. this college relies on students travelling from surrounding counties. this is obvious as there is little student accomodation. why then, create one student car park and charge these lucky few to actually obtain a space £1 a day to park? students who earn nothing, often with families, already paying £1150 each to the college!

many students are forced to park in residential areas which aggravates the residents, resulting in abuse towards the students and the police being called on a daily basis to issue £30 fines.
what sort of student can afford this sort of money simply due to the dispicable lack of responsibilty of the college with regard to parking?

it is a waste of police time. it is frustrating for the residents nearby. it is a complete nightmare for the students. all of the lecturers i have come across express their disgust at the state of affairs.

by signing this petition we can make it blatantly clear to the principal that we want to see something done about this huge problem.
we do not want to see ridiculous banners on lamp posts on campus that serve absolutely no purpose.

we want , we need and we expect this problem to be sorted. soon. very, very soon.

we do not have a sponsor as we are lowly students who are forced to pay £1 a day to park or £30 a day to park.
