June 26, 2007 Good morning everyone, I have a special request from you. Last week, my cousin, Trina Parker (32), (known to some of you all as Trina Murray), was attacked by her husband in a domestic situation which ended in him shooting her at close range in front of their toddler son, 5 times! In the midst of her husband, HOMER PARKER, performing such a horrible act, he did NOT try to flee, rather, he waited for the police and watched her bleed to what he thought was going to be her demise, but by the GRACE OF GOD, she didn\'t die. She did not lose any vital organs and she is not on life support, but she is still in intensive care at Loyola Hospital in Maywood, IL and the doctors expect her to make a full recovery. On the flip side, Homer was picked up by the police and charges were filed, however, in this manipulative judicial system, he has pleaded insanity and a bond was set for him at $150,000. Yesterday, we found out that his family has allocated funds for him and that he was released into a Mental Institution (name of the facility undisclosed by his relatives). My cousin, Aunt, and Uncle, (Tasha, Frances and Roy) have asked for an online petition to be signed as well as anyone who has a brief moment to make a call to The State\'s Attorney\'s Office, Dick Devine at (708) 865-6080 on Trina\'s behalf to Contest the Bond and Revoke Homer\'s privileges. I would like to add a few words of inspiration in this matter. This could have been any one of our relatives: daughters, sisters, cousins, aunts, or friends...the weapons floating around in these uneasy hands are bad enough, but what makes it worse is when cases like this get swept under the rug. It\'s time to call some action into play that will work in the favor of everyone who is attacked in such a manor. Trina could have lost her life. Her son would have been without a mother or father, and this case would have, like so many others, went forgotten. We\'re NOT going to let that happen. This whole situation is over-whelming enough with the trauma of her son witnessing it all, the after effects of hospital treatment, therapy for her and her son, time lost off of work, having to go back home to a house that she may very well not be able to call home anymore, and trying to start to live a new life again.. Please sign the petition electronically and forward on to your colleagues. Once this email has hit a significant amount of responses I will be forwarding it to the States Attorney. I thank you very much for your time and concern, Suhajda Henry
