It is our belief that people should be able to get tattoos in a sterile and safe manner, without traveling far distances. Currently people in Dubuque, IA are being deprived of that simple right, and in result are sacrificing their safety and getting tattoos out of garages, basements, and where ever else. Aspiring artist are also unable to enter into the career of their choice without moving away from dear old mom and dad. Putting more restrictions on tattooing has just made people seek unsanitary ways to get that tribal arm band. Help us help the community! This petition will be summited to the City of Dubuque Council in hopes or reversing the current ordinance.
