We believe that West Barnes Ward in the London Borough of Merton has long been overlooked for enhancement. The implementation of minor improvements would have a positive impact on residents and local businesses. As part of a wider package of solutions for the Motspur Park Village and Burlington Road parades,we would appreciate the provision of 30 semi-mature street trees from the Mayor of London, Boris Johnson's Street Tree Initiative- which would improve the local environment significantly both in terms of the look and feel of the area and, importantly, the air quality.
