301 Cathleen M. DunwoodyO love just 4 blocks from the proposed Balfour site and DO NOT agree that that is an appropriate site for ANY facility for the criminally insane,Obviously, property values and public safety have not been considered by those in power, There is no such thing as a secure lock down facility and if inmates are given the right to walk our streets unsupervised there will be Fear will improson us all.

306 Dale VarnerI think it is a bad idea to locate such a home her for the safety of all the residents who live in this neighborhood. I would be proposed to pacing it here where we are trying to build a family based neighborhood, it seems like the contrary thing to do. I can think of lots of scenios or disaster, so why not place them in a country environment, away from people.

312 AnonymousI am against having any such facility in my area. Il ive in Milwauke, near the Ardenwald area, and have young children. The thought of having a treatment facility that houses child molesters near the place where I am raising my children is beyond concerning. The Balfur house is NOT welcome in my neighborhood.

314 AnonymousI have nothing against people with mental illness, i do on the other hand have strong feelings against violent offenders living in peaceful familiy enviroments.

316 Anne Milleras a single female living less than 1 block away from the proposed facility, i not only have safety and security concerns, but also as a property owner i have concerns about property values, road improvements (and WHO will pay for them) and other issues.
317 AnonymousPlease take care to consider a more appropriate location for these Residential Treatment Facilities to help the patients either serve out there time or to recover. I believe that they do still have rights to a safe home to live also. But as a new member of this neighbor hood I do agree that there are better locations that would be better suited for patients trying to recover and gain control of there lives. I believe that it is best to give them a place to recover free of temptations and distractions. As I have said please do take careful considerations to these choices. For our sake as citizens of this neighbor hood and as well as the patients that need help at the Residential Treatment Facilities. Thanks for your consideration. 320 Angela KimpoAs a mother of a three year old who attends an in-home daycare within two blocks of the facility, I am outraged that this facility has been permitted within the City of Milwaukie so close to residential areas and a neighborhood school. Please reconsider allowing this inappropriate use in such an area.

330 AnonymousI was attacked from behind in an elevator with a box cutter by an insane individual who of course was found guily but for insanity. He has been released to a SRTF and placed back in the state hospital. I live very close to the balfour house.
331 David A. KingsellaI am absolutely outraged!!! I live in the Ardenwald neighborhood, but on the Portland side. It sounds like the lawsuits etc. have stemmed from Milwaukie since the house is within their city limits. What can I do as a Portland resident to have my voice heard...this is in my neighborhood as well!
332 Lindsay GitsI am against the construction of this building in a neighborhood where I plan to have and raise children.
333 Rich PedersenBuying a house in this neighborhood. We DO NOT want to be one street away from a treatment facility for the criminally insane!
