| 151 | Barbara Godfrey | I believe these people should remain incarcerated in a state mental facility, not in our neighborhoods. |

| 156 | Terri Martinez | This is just unacceptable for our children and families to have to face the worrying and uncertainty of the safety of our families. We may not always know who are neighbors might be, but we always have a choice on what to do when we find out if they are criminals. You are not giving these families a choice! You are putting children in grave danger and knowing the risks. How would you sleep at night knowing you have no rights for the safety of your family on your own property. This is just another sad sad thing for our generation of children. |

| 158 | Kelly Richardson | I live a block and a half from where they want to build this facility (Balfour House). I am a mother and a foster mother. I have multiple young children living in my home at any given time. I do not feel safe raising my own family nor the children I take in this close to a facility of this type. I am willing to fight tooth and nail to keep these people out of our neighborhood. We are a residential area and DO NOT need these CRIMINALS living within such a small distance of us and our children! |

| 161 | Anonymous | One of these children is my grand daughter. She is 4 yrs old and should not have to live in fear. These people need to be put on an island by themselves so if they hurt anyone it would be themselves. |

| 164 | Anonymous | Why do we try and save child molesters? They can never be cured, only learn to live in society and you want to ask parents of children to trust this facility will be secure? Absolutely ludicrous! We should do to them what other countries do... |
| 165 | Marcia Richardson | My husband spent his entire career in law enforcement. People with these type of mental issues are almost never rehabilitated and will never be able to exhist in a normal living situation. They would be a constant threat to this neighborhood. A home of this type should be placed away from main street and the family neighborhood! |
| 166 | Alex McIntosh | put these facilities into industrial areas not residential areas |
| 167 | Anonymous | I used to live in Cornelius and my former neighbors were terrified of the facility near their homes |

| 170 | Anonymous | this is absolutely an outrage! how can this be allowed without the consideration of the surrounding residents?? this a very serious matter that the neighborhood definately should have a say in! |

| 172 | Brittney Rettler-Thomas | They sneaky way the County, Builder and State put this home in is ridiculous and proves the dangerous risks it is putting our families in. They have to stopped!! |
| 173 | Shawn Thomas | This is dangerous for our families...this home is not welcomed, and we continue to have ZERO tolerance for any incidents. This whole thing is UNACCEPTABLE |
| 174 | Anonymous | I am concerned regarding the fact that these homes consistently do not have adequate security or staff with ability to complete rapid , high level independent problem solving.
The Connell house had a piromaniac housed in a facility here in Cornelius where the security system to open doors / windows was activated by a sprinkler system. This system will open the doors / windows when a cigarette lighter is held to the sprinkler head.
One of the residents climbed the fence to get out and camped out at the convenience store 1 block sw of the home. He spent all day begging authorities to take him back to jail as he was so afraid of his fellow "inmates" at the Connell hous. |
| 175 | Kimberlee Thomas | I do not agree with placing a "home" in my neighborhood, we have too many young families and young children to have such an unstable home. |
| 176 | Anonymous | The placement of the Balfour house is unnecessarily close to an elementary school and family housing. |
| 177 | Timothy Teel | I send my 3 year old son to a preschool near one of the proposed sites and feel extremely uncomfortable with the knowledge that violent and sexual criminals will be housed there. If this goes through I will have to remove my son from a very good school. Please reconsider; facilities like this should be placed in isolated or at the very least, industrial areas, NOT residential. |

| 180 | Danielle Wilkins | This facility does not belong in the Balfour neighborhood or any neighborhood at that. |
| 181 | Daniel Halbert | This type of facility does not belong in any neighborhood including the Balfour community. |

| 187 | April Shaul | This is a HUGE! danger to the neighborhood and people in the area. No matter what is sound not every patient can be 100% monitored nor can you read thier minds. If you could you would be one of them. |
| 188 | Anonymous | This is wrong in so manty ways. children live near and all around these locations. These people should be under maximum security only. Not in someones neighbohood! |
| 189 | IMELDA MEDINA | Please listen to all concerns from citizens and really take in consideration how they feel. Don’t do this for profit by potentially hurting other on the way |
| 190 | Scott Hale | I live in the nieghborhood and would ask for our childrens sake please do not allow a facilty of this sort to be in a neighborhood with so many children. The nearby school does not have a bus service so many childeren walk to school. |

| 196 | Roger & Cheryl Reece | This is the city of Milwaukie fault. Will certainly be considering moving if this home is occupied as detailed in this information. |
| 197 | Judith Mertes | |
| 198 | Heidi Wilson | Treatment facilities such as this do not belong in residential neighborhoods under any circumstances. There are plenty of other areas to place such facilities. And, regardless of area, forensic clients should certainly not be allowed to roam the areas freely and unsupervised, ESPECIALLY if they are in areas near children, parks, schools, the elderly, etc.
Please, please do not allow this to facility or others like it to go into neighborhoods- it will only increase the traffic, bring down property values and bring a dangerous and disturbing population in contact with children, families, elderly, etc.
Sincerely,
Heidi Wilson
(concerned mother of two young kids) |
| 199 | Elizabeth Haugen | Please do not do this. We already have alot of trafic and this would just add to it. |
