Sir,
With reference to the above mentioned
subject, we the undersigned would demand for Videograph (video recordings of
the personal interview) of Oral Test / Personal Interviews which will be
conducted by the District Selection Committee for the various job vacancies as
per the notification No.DSC.3/ADVT/2012/14, Dated Jowai, the 1st
November 2012 (vacancy for the Grade III and Grade IV).
We demand the Oral Test /
Personal Interviews to be videographed (recorded visual and audio that should clear
and audible) to ensure transparent appointments and such video clippings should
be made available to the public.
It may be reminded that
during the last DSC’s appointments (during the year 2010/2011) there was hue
and cry from aspiring candidates, the public and NGOs as the appointments that
were made were unfair and biased.
Such steps will bring about
transparency in the functioning of the DSC and also in the selection procedure of
candidates during the Oral test/Personal interview as the recordings would also
be available to the candidates and the public (for the public should have the
right to know the performance of the candidates before the selected candidates
serve them).
Therefore it is demanded
that the Oral Test / Personal Interviews of the DSC should be Videographed (video
recording) in the interest of justice and for the sake of future references by
the candidates.
