Name: Tony Kavouras on Dec 22, 2007Comments: This is unacceptable. Skytrains and Buses should run even later than they do. Particularly on Fridays and Saturdays (they should be not stop then) oh and since Translink is raising thier fares in January, they should increase thier schedualeFlag

Name: Alison Gorka on Dec 23, 2007Comments: late-night bus service barely connects out-lying communities to downtown, making it easier for people to drink and drive after a night of clubbing rather than going home early or paying an arm and a leg for a cab from downtown to say, coquitlam. bus-service is great if you live in downtown and only downtown, but for the outlying communities, we rely on skytrain service.Flag

Name: Riley Richter on Dec 23, 2007Comments: if the skytrains kept running through the night, not only could the partiers get home, but also those of us who work super late hours and just want a ride home at the end of a shirt... and paying 25 bucks for a taxi gets kind of annoying every night...Flag

Name: Jonathan Thebault on Dec 23, 2007Comments: Could Translink be run any worse At least stay open after the bars close. That would do more to curb drunk driving than any amount of roadblocks, ridiculous new weapons for police to irresponsibly kill people with, idiotic commercials or cheesy motivational speakers in high schools could ever hope to accomplish.Flag

Name: Bernarda Lopez on Dec 23, 2007Comments: it would be in the public's best interest and safety to keep the skytrains running later on. we depend on translink for our transportation and that should not be dictated on the time we require it. the service provided should be at all hours and accessible to all public. isn't that the reason why pay such high taxes to translinkFlag

Name: Anonymous on Dec 25, 2007Comments: If you really want to promote nightlife in downtown Vancouver then at least have an acceptable transit system to back it up. We now have a great police force working for transit...so why not keep the skytrain running 24/7 to really fix up our sad reputationFlag

Name: Emily Dueckman on Dec 25, 2007Comments: There is absolutely no reason why public transit should be shut down completely at all. Running a few less trains for maintenance Sure. But this is PUBLIC transit and the people are entitled to have access to it. If you want people to use transit, make it accessible.Flag

Name: Christina on Dec 26, 2007Comments: i believe that with the trains running into the night... it may not be that they need to run as frequently as they do during the day. but maybe just one every 30 minutes to hour would be enough... it's only 4-5 hours so that would be 4-10 runs... not too bad i thinkFlag

Name: Anonymous on Dec 27, 2007Comments: Vancouver is one of the few major cities in North America where our transit system shuts down during the wee hours of the night. Not only should the system be expanded by having more rapid transit like Skytrain or light rail, but it should be accessible 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Poll after poll shows that people would take transit if it was more accessible - well in Vancouver it sucks.Flag
