PETITION To the Legislative Assembly of Ontario: WHEREAS the proposed East Toronto Transmission Line (ETTL) may make people sick, will drive down property values, and will not beautify our neighbourhoods or the city of Toronto; AND WHEREAS the ETTL has a projected cost of $600 million; AND WHEREAS every dollar spent on energy conservation gives the same payback as five dollars spent generating new energy; AND WHEREAS locally-generated green power must be part of our planet
