Name: Derek Puzak on Oct 1, 2007Comments: To NOT release this movie on Blu-Ray is a travesty, and will cost Paramount millions of dollars in potential sales. The PS3 user-base in itself is enough reason to put movies out on Blu-Ray, Transformers or not. This is only prolonging a losing war for everyone. Put the movie out on both formats, make a ton of money, and let consumers decide which format will win! Taking sides is only going to cost Paramount and other studios DEARLY.Flag

Name: Anonymous on Oct 1, 2007Comments: Paramount should open their greedy little eyes and realize that the Consumer meaning us are the ones paying there salary. We go and support there movies and products. Rumor has it that Paramount took the bribe from Toshiba for a 150 million dollars(hope that this is not true I would be very disappointed, but not surprised). Blue-ray format is by far the best format on the Market today. I just hope that Mr. Speilberg and Michael Bay are using their influence and have Paramount change there minds. Worst case scenerio, I just won't buy none of there merchandise or support the movies or their products. Maybe we should just boycott paramount all together.Flag

Name: Mike Sisson on Oct 3, 2007Comments: Paramount is stupidly hurting the High-definition market by choosing the LOSING side of the battle. This has not only added further confusion to the battle, but has also guaranteed to extend it further in time. During this time Paramount will make LESS money than they could be making (the vast majority of the Transformers fan base ARE also largely aligned with Sony PS3 and blu-ray technology), stop going against logic Paramount! Paramount does want to make money dont they Blu-Ray is where you need to be!Flag

Name: Derrick Nolan on Oct 5, 2007Comments: I am a HUGE Transformers fan, and was totally ready to add Transformers to my collection, but i only have a Blu Ray player. I refuse to buy the lesser format DVD, and i am defiantly not ready to invest into an HD DVD, so the ONLY format i am willing to buy is the Blu Ray. On Top of that, i am boycotting all Paramount/Dreamworks projects until they fix this travesty. It could have been ANY other movie but Transformers...why did it have to be Transformers.Flag

Paramount - You are going to leave a LOT of money on the table because of this decision. I will NOT purchase this title on NTSC DVD.Flag

Name: Brandon Wynn on Oct 5, 2007Comments: I did not go see Transformers in theaters because I was waiting for its release on Blu-Ray (my home theater is much better than the public theater). I was willing to pay well to have the Blu-ray version. Until paramount gets their heads on straight I will not purchase any of their movies (or go to see them in theaters). Alienating youselves from half of the consumer base is ... lets see .... STUPID.Flag
