Name: Declan Clune on Jan 31, 2009Comments: Who is accountable for this shambolic display of Council ineptitude If a situation such as this arose in the private sector heads would roll. €50,000 down the drain...... The whole matter stinks of incompetence, from the type of surface laid (tar & chip), to the speed limit (25kph), speed prevention measures (cones) and the question needs to be asked (and answered), did the road really need to be resurfaced in the first place The road in it`s current state is an accident waiting to happen. Surely it should be resurfaced as a matter of urgency on health and safety groundsFlag
