I have been staring at the traffic on Penn Avenue all afternoon while sitting in the coffee shop and it honestly feels like dodging bullets just to walk to the curb. People are telling me similar stories about their own close calls lately which makes me realize this is way more than just one bad intersection so I am currently drafting a letter to the city council members to see if anyone is actually listening.

I honestly did not think this would gain so much traction when I started typing it out on my phone that one morning after almost getting clipped on Penn Avenue. It is just wild to see so many people feeling that same fear every time they cross the street to grab lunch or head into the office.

Too many near misses lately. I stop going on saturdays because the drivers are out of control.
About time. City needs speed bumps or at least some actual crossing guards on weekends its basically the wild west.
Almost got hit twice last month just trying to get some coffee. People drive way to fast on liberty.
My kids love the markets but i am scared to take them now. Dangerous.
SLOW DOWN. It isnt that hard. Fix these roads now.

Every weekend is a nightmare down there. Cars go flying down smallman like it is a race track. Someone is gonna get killed.
