With yet another accident at the corner of University street and D'arcy street we think it's about time that the town of Cobourg install proper traffic lights. Traffic is very heavy in the early morning and early afternoon at this intersection and visibility of oncoming traffic is poor. This is also a high foot traffic area for children (because of the nearby school). With the additional traffic from the new Cobourg Community Centre and the increased housing in the surrounding area we feel that the current four way flashing light is no longer adequate.
