While we admire the energy and effort which has gone into solving the problems of speeding traffic through Centreville, Delaware on Route 52, we believe that the use of flowerpots and eventually, PERMANENT BUMP-OUTS to address the problems is unsafe, unsightly and unsatisfactory.
Our purpose is to show the members of the Centreville Civic Association, DelDOT and WILMAPCO that the majority population of Centreville, and those who use Route 52, have not been represented in the decision to calm traffic through Centreville by the use of flowerpots and eventually, permanent fixtures in their place.
It is our goal to present to the Centreville Civic Association, DelDOT and WILMAPCO, a significant list of names of Centreville residents, business owners and frequent users of Route 52, who would prefer to see Centreville's traffic problems addressed through the use of traffic signals at the intersection of Route 52, Twaddell Mill Road and Owl's Nest Road.
We are residents and business owners of Centreville, and people who frequently use Route 52 through Centreville. |
