Name: Patricia Sacks on Dec 12, 2008Comments: To the Town Council - Please be more creative & aggressive in your approach to business development for Vienna. Examine your tax structure and incentives for business owners. Why has our neighbor McLean been able to attract & retain gift stores, restaurants, florists, toy stores, etc. We need more diverse business lines, both nationally owned and family owned.Flag

Name: Mary Foley on Dec 12, 2008Comments: A Trader joes would greatly enhance the Vienna community by bringing in a low-cost, healthful grocery store that offers more gluten-free and other special-diet options to our community. This is important to my family, where we have one child on the gluten-free diet. I think other families would benefit from their healthier selections as well. Also, Trader Joes is a good corporate neighbor and a fine brand that would also bring more shoppers into that strip mall, which is clearly hurting for business. Currently, Vienna residents have to travel at least 5-7 miles in either direction to get to a Trader joes. Please, please bring Trader Joes to Vienna!Flag
