Dwyane Wade is a GREAT athlete and player. At age 30 he is a 7 time NBA All Star, NBA Champion and NBA Finals MVP. He has accomplished more by age 30 than most NBA players dream of. Having said that, most would agree that his tenure in Miami should come to an end. If you haven't noticed, the Miami Heat are 5-0 without D-Wade in the starting line up. They are 5-4 with him in the line up. What does this mean? D-Wade is not needed for this team to make it. Lebron James can control the tempo of the game better than anyone in the NBA. Passing,scoring and not to mention his incredible defensive skill,he is the total package. Chris Bosh is a solid defender and rebounder who can step out and make the midrange shot. Udonis Haslem and Joell Anthony aren't the most gifted big men but they get the job done,as well as Mario Chalmers and rookie Norris Cole. With quite a few NBA teams looking to trade great players, (Rajon Rondo,Ray Allen,Dwight Howard,Steve Nash,Deron Williams) Miami can trade D-Wade and bring in what the team really needs,a solid point guard who is not concerned about scoring but getting assist or a great big man in Dwight Howard who is capable of 20 rebounds,none of which Lebron has had the opportunity in his career to play with. In all honesty the team should be built around Lebron seeing that he is the most dominant player in the NBA hands down. D-Wade is amazing but he is injury prone and plays a game identical to that of Lebrons. To win a NBA championship YOU MUST HAVE A LEADER on the team that everyone follows. Miami has 2 great leaders but as a team they are very average. This is why a good team like the Dallas Mavericks nearly swept them in the NBA Finals last year. They were a better TEAM. D-Wade can be used to get the Miami Heat the necessary help they need to bring championships to South Beach. There's 2 options here, keep D-Wade and get close to the finals again OR trade D-Wade and give the Miami Heat the tools they need to win championships.
