    Comments: I am in concurrence with the objections outlined above. I believe that certain taxing procedures are best left in the hands of those more qualified to handle them The Cities not the state government. I believe the taking of the above procedures would just create a larger beauicratic system with little benefit to the smaller cities and its people. This is like the Federal Government usurping the State's powers with more red tape and a very unwieldly monster. Please leave this "power" in the hands of the people through our local city government where it can be managed more effectively and efficiently!

    Comments: I concur with the points made above--but especially note the insanity of moving the tax revenue from construction projects in small cities to adjacent large cities that would receive most of the sales tax revenue from large, centrally located contractors and subcontractors. Construction and growth in a community impacts that community in terms of planning, zoning and infrastructure--and the revenues to compensate for those costs are not being replaced.
