My customers paid me threw pay pal and they limited my account and I cant take out the money. I followed all the Steps to Remove Limitations. I sent them a fax of the receipts, confirmened my phone number, had a bank account added, and gave shipping proof to Paypal.I shipped out the items and now I have no items or the money. I read on a website called paypalsucks.com that this is common act with Pay Pal and people do not get there money back unless I contact BBB or the Attorney General. I am doing both. My account on Pay pal: is Gorditochulo2005@yahoo.com. The have frozen $892.71. These are the two transaction numbers: eBay Payment Received (ID # 0YX39642MR746491M) thatFlag

Poor poor seller protection, the policies are misleading and lies, and they have done nothing to help. Have asked for the bank contact person and phone number so I an assist in my own dispute and they have refused to give it up, not asking for private info but they wont give. Name: Daryl Varhanik on Jan 26, 2007Comments: Paypal is operating on a level equal with Enron. They are presenting processed payments they represent as being "completed" when no transaction has taken place. And when they can't collect, they immediately pursue and recover their own funds and I've got them even lying as to why they did. Their actions promote theft, etc. They block you, freeze you, do whatever they want when they want to confirm something about you, but yet they continue to sign up new members without demanding they confirm. And refuse to admit they have so many members who they have confirmed since they used a credit card to verify themselves. Why Because if they don't confirm, Paypal has no liability to protect the seller. Their actions show nothing more than intent to secure profit for their own entity with blatant disregard for ethics. They represent themselves as a safe payment transfer system, and they are not safe by any means, it's apparent that seem to have such a problem with unauthorized account use. And they are presenting so called completed transactions that were in fact, never completed nor was any transfer done, except the Paypal service fee deducted from my account at the time. If you look in the rules, you'll see as a seller you can't refuse a specific type of paypal payment except for E-Check. The reason for this is an E-Check is used by someone who won't give Paypal authority to draw at will in their bank, and if Paypal can't control the funds to protect itself or make all the money on the deal, they don't like it. I think I deserve a serious reimbursement of the funds they've taken from me just in fees in their monopolistic ways dominating Ebay, they have proven to not be providing a legitimate reliable service.Flag

Name: Heather Connaughton on Mar 22, 2007Comments: paypal froze my account a month ago, with almost 200 dollars left in it and no way for me to withdraw it. The reason they have given me, is that my account is linked to another account. After further investigation, I have found they have linked my account to my landlord's due to the fact that he is having a dispute with them. Since we share a router and an address we are linked forever according to paypal, even if I moved! I would love to join this action if this case is eligible. thank you.Flag

Name: Anonymous on Mar 22, 2007Comments: I (registered Corp) used 2 sell items on eBay-am now indefinitely suspended 4 no reason.2/27 I'd~$720.00 in my PayPal acct.Logging in was greeted w/a banner of "limited access"-could receive money, yet couldn't xfer money 2 my bus check acct.Email said I had an unresolved issue on a linked account I owed refund 2 a buyer. In earlier emails 2 PayPal,I tried 2 refund buyer, got no help from PayPal.I sent PayPal a money order way b4 they limited my acct 2 refund buyer.Process took over a month-still not completed-& should've taken 10 days.W/the limited access on my acct,Paypal is illegally holding monies that're mine. The remainder of the refund money was xfered, yet the money in MY acct is still frozen 4 no reason.Don't have lots of money,5 kids & items were already sent 2 customers. So,items gone & I still have 2 pay cost.Googled PayPal 2 find out they've done this to 100's of compliant sellers. From what I've read,PayPal promised 2 free people's funds within 6 months-still 2 long-yet it's been longer & they've yet 2 see a penny. In many cases,it has been longer than a year-no claims brought from buyers-yet PayPal still holds their money-from amt of $15.00 to over $13,000.This is unfair, unjust.Something needs 2 be done about this-I don't see why it's not.I know we're pions & our lives aren't important;disgusts me.Though they've not told me,like others I've read about that it would take 6 months,I now have no faith/trust in PayPal-I see they're able 2 do what they want-when they want. They're making a ton in interest by illegally/immorally holding onto money that is not theirs-something needs 2 be done. This further solidifies my distrust in eBay, owner of PayPal, b/c of their seemingly unlawful violation & mistreatment of it's sellers-suspending them for no reason-w/no due process. If government agencies did a search on eBay suspensions/ PayPal frozen accounts you would see the severe injustices of the American public & hopefully finally do something about it.Flag

Name: Donald E Grimes on Mar 22, 2007Comments: Due to the unlawful and unwarranted recent holding of funds from my Paypal account my and my daughters livelihood is in trouble. I can't pay my eBay fee's because [papal has all the money that was being left in the account to send them, So now, all my store inventory that is cycled through listings is locked in unsold and can't be even placed back in my store. Even sending them shipping receipts and tracking info gets nothing but a form letter in reply if anything. As an honorably discharged UNMC veteran who is partially disabled, this is coming down hard on me and my daughter right now and I would be happy to take part in exposing the wrong dings of this ebaypal scam on honest people like me trying to make an honest living....
