Name: Tom on Dec 9, 2006Comments: Allowances should be made for people who've bought tickets genuinely but need to sell them on. Websites exist for people to buy/sell tickets at face value, such as www.scarletmist.com. They'll appear there every so often. Keep checking, good luck. Spread the word!Flag

Name: Katie Smith on Dec 9, 2006Comments: I do not agree that names should be printed on tickets, as sometimes for unforseen reasons you may not be able to go to a concert and you should be able to sell them at face value. I totally agree that people should not be able to tout tickets at hugely inflated prices on ebay!!!Flag

Name: Anonymous on Dec 9, 2006Comments: The usual scenario - you're up at the crack of dawn waiting to get tickets for your favourite band, come 9am you don't have a chance. Somehow the touts always manage to get there first. Tickets sell for ridiculous amounts of money on Ebay and the genuine fans are either forced to pay up or go without, which is devastating. Something needs to be done, as touting on Ebay is getting out of control.Flag

Name: John Beall on Dec 9, 2006Comments: I very nearly missed out the Muse Wembley gig, would have if they hadn't added a second date and yet there are literally 1000s of tickets on ebay being sold at double price. The name idea is good, if someone can't go then they should be able to then sell their tickets back to the venue.Flag

Name: Joe Mccarthy on Dec 9, 2006Comments: this petition shouldnt stop ebay having tickets sold all together, as if you cant make a gig it can be useful, but also ticket sales are around 6 months before a gig at times, but maybe you cant afford one when they come outFlag

Name: Dave Rose on Dec 9, 2006Comments: Bit lame how people buy in bulk then sell on, so no one else can buyplausable tickets, at reasonable prices. Not much ebay can do about it tho 'cos they still get their money and it dosent effect their market at all.Flag

Name: Kieran Bassan on Dec 9, 2006Comments: Totally agree!! I was desperate to go and knew that they'd sell out in 4 seconds and then 1000's of them would appear on eBay....lo and behold there they are!! Some are even listed before the tickets went on sale....hmmmm..... Also if you cant buy tickets to football games why gigs This must be kept up and eBay must do something to fix this scandal!!!!Flag

Name: Adam Davis on Dec 10, 2006Comments: It was such a relief to find a petition like this! I hate the bastards who manage to beat all of the true fans to the best tickets. I did manage to get very distant seated tickets but standing is the ONLY way to see Muse!Flag

Name: Alan Keen on Dec 15, 2006Comments: Wait a minute mate - If we all stick together we can get our tickets cheaper through the touts than the offical route - I'm currently bidding on all the cheap no reserve tickets in the hope of seeing the touts incur heavy loses, I will, if I win more than I need sell them at the price I pay for them closer to the event when the prices will rocket again - If they are banned from ebay they will sell them elsewhere! Offical ticket outlets are as bad as the touts doubling the face value to cash in on us - It's time there was a system put in place similar to Glastonbury, tickets are issued to a person who has to prove who they are to gain entry to the event. I saw muse last mouth for the first time and would compare the gig to Floyd for entertainment value!!!!Flag

Name: Jerry Horrocks on Dec 18, 2006Comments: Im so fed up with tickets selling out within half an hour of going on sale all going to online ticket tout sellers or straight on to Ebay for a MASSIVE profit.I then cannot go unless i pay 3 times the price. And then of course there is a real risk i will never even receive the tickets anyway, after all you are dealing with greedy scum bags only in it for easy profit.Flag
