Im sure many people were in my position today, after wating an hour before, traffic online prevented me getting a weekend ticket, minutes later there were hundreds on ebay for twice the price!!! after going to leeds fest every year since 99\' im totally outraged at this, i have written to the BBC and created an online petition to help prevent this from happening in future, Mean fiddler were doing everything they could to stop this but failed, i know there must be enough people on here who feel the same and will want to help the cause. Afterall festivals are about music and people getting together and enjoying themselves, not people makin extra money by mass-buying tickets. How hard would it be to print a name on a ticket and show an ID at the gate Anyway because i refuse to pay extra money \'on principle\' for all the students out there who want to go and enjoy the music and festival atmosphere, i guess ill be buying 3 day tickets :S please help the cause, all comments welcome!! BTW i have never voted and have no previous faith in the system so if it doesnt work i guess I wont be surprised!
Take the festival back! Its for musiclovers not some hooligan who gets all 12 generations of his family that all live in the same house to buy 5 tickets each to sell on ebay!! please join my cause!!!
The best way as suggested seems to ban ebay from selling tickets at anything but face value, i will present this to ebay when there is enough support!! thanks for the support!!
