Are you fed up going on holiday only to be ripped off. You know, you get charged a "tourist rate" for an item. Locals get charged the "local rate". The real price. Time to make a stand. We are all Europeans, so we are all "locals". We do not mind a little extra charge but when some holiday resorts charge more than double the cost for things compared to what locals get charged, then I feel as a tourist, we are being discriminated against. Please sign this petition if you feel the tourist industry should let it be known that unless the holiday hotspots in Europe do not stop this unfair trading, then we will stop holidying there. Example, self catering holiday. You buy something like Bread. You are charged 4 euros fro it. A local comes in, buys the same bread and they get charged 1 euro 20cents. Is this fair on the tourist Is it fair on a family on a self catering holiday to pay way over the odds for food when locals get the same items for less than half the price you paid Many islanders are wanting to promote family holidays as they seem to be getting a bit fed up with 18/30 clubs. Is their pricing attitude going to promote families Please sign the petition. It would be appreciated to let the unfair holiday destinations get the message that we are not willing to accept "local rates" tourist rates" any more.
