Name: Jeff Krout on Oct 16, 2007Comments: I was born in CA. I lived there for 20 years. In those years I never saw or heard of anyone carrying Nunchaku in public.. Being against the law is ridiculous. I now live in TX where its legal. How many citizens here have been attacked by Nunchaku Close to none Im sure and much, much less than thoses attacked by someone with a gun. This is a stupid law and Nunchaku should be legal in all states.Flag

Nunchaku should be legalized, both for self-defense, and for proper learning.Flag

Name: Kyle Quakenbush on Dec 20, 2007Comments: this is the most overlooked law I've come across. While guns and swords will continue to kill and cut people, they are still legal in public while the nunchaku is not this is especially dumb that it affects CA, NY, and MA residents but not other states anyone living in those states will not be allowed to possess oneFlag

Name: Michael Smith on Dec 20, 2007Comments: It's ridiculous that possession a close ranged melee weapon yields a higher punishment than possession of a concealed fire arm. A couple of sticks tied together is more dangerous than a hand gun Besides, there is a historical martial art behind the nunchaku and Americans should have the freedom to own and practice with this weapon just like any other.Flag
