Comments: Times are changing and the wheel weaves and the wheel wills. No business should ever overlook or ignore their customers. While I understand your concerns, change has come, and it is in your best interest to go with the flow. Cheers, MidianFlag -

Comments: Agreed on all accounts. The negative ratings AMoL are getting are all due to the ebook release date, and honestly, it's destroying Jim's legacy. You have the power to stop this Tor.Flag -

Name: Justin Bassett on Jan 14, 2013Comments: I find this decision by RJ's widow to be a poor one -- I was planning on buying the hardcover anyway (and did), but I primarily read from my Kindle these days, as it's convenient, comfortable, and also saves space, time, energy, etc. The fact that I have to either suck it up and read a huge, bulky book at home (because I'm sure as hell not going to lug it around everywhere like I can my Kindle), or suck it up and wait a few months to buy the ebook...well, it really sucks and either way I have to suck it up. It's not the end of the world to me, but there are a bunch of people bent out of shape over this...hell, more people gave the book one star on amazon for not releasing the ebook version than gave it five stars. As I said, I think her decision to hold off on the ebook release was a poor one, and don't think it would've hindered hardcover sales in the least. For the love of , please reconsider and push up the ebook release by a couple months -- you're doing your fans a HUGE disservice here, and pissing a lot of them off to boot!Flag

Name: Tyler Glembo on Jan 14, 2013Comments: My gravest concern is the idea that this was done with A Memory of Light in order to ensure it would end up on the bestsellers list. Or, to look at it another way, Team Jordan thought that A Memory of Light was not good enough to make it to the bestsellers list if they offered it in multiple formats. Do they really believe the conclusion to Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time series is so bad that it would not make the bestsellers list without gimmicks? Shameful.Flag

I usually use the library for my books but would like to buy the books so I can read at my leisure and I believe E-Books are the way to go. I also believe it is better for the environment and that as technology increases so should the various businesses who are affected by the changes in technology. Thank you for your time.Flag
