I am petitioning the state to change their no liability law. my son drowned in a lake. the owner was not held accountable for my child dieing on public property, because they are not liable to compensate parents or family if their child or any one is injured or dies on the premises of lakes, beach, or recreational center in I feel parents in individual should know this law before they allow their kids to take parts in these activity, we assume our kids are safe in protect in these government owned facilities. the said thing is I also discover that lifeguard can fail to do their jobs in protect the waters in your child ends up dieing, the lifeguard also free from being held responsible because of them working on state property. And in my case I think it sad because lifeguards was very negligent in helping trying to save my son. lifeguards allowed 2kids between the ages of 11-13 drag my child out of the water in the lifeguards watch. and then they allowed CPR to be administer by bystander who was doing it incorrectly my son died in no one was arrested. because of this law they was able to walk away without punishment in I think it is very unfair. this law should be veto a lot of family lost members of their family from drowning in it sad that the state believe they are not responsible, and they should be in I don't think lifeguards should be under the rule. because lifeguard get paid for a job in they have a ethnic code that they must obey. in with the no liability law that the state made overrules the law for lifeguards, because the lifeguards work on state property. please sign this petition too change this rule because they are misleading everyone who are not familiar with the law.and family should know the risk of their families when they are at lakes, or beach, or recreational center or any place was the state law could be enforced.
