The mining giant Vale has applied to the City of Greater Sudbury Ontario, Canada to have the local by-laws changed to allow Vale to house workers on industrial zoned property.

If granted, it would impose a very real danger to the health and safety of these workers.

Vale claims that safety is number one. They also have a very important core value that being ZERO HARM and reducing all risk to a state of ALARA, As Low As Reasonably Achievable.

Housing a single person within any heavy industrial area compromises their health and safety and raises the possibility of injury. This goes against Vale’s core value.

By signing this petition you agree that this application should be rejected and that the health and safety of all workers is of utmost importance.
