I am starting this petition because everyday I search for a decent affordable house to live in and every house I find they want to much rent a month I mean come on who can afford a 1 bedroom apartment for $1200 a month.in todays society people are lucky to afford $500 a month.. These landlords think their houses are made of gold and there really not it is actually sickening to see the monthly rent prices. We need to address this issue so that people can actually find a house and live comfortably and not in fear of eviction if they cannot come up with rent. And on top of high rent costs all these houses don't allow pets. And if something breaks the landlord is supposed to fix it but they are so greedy they don't even do their jobs the proper way.
