Comments: I saw the Beach Boys 50th Annivesary Tour this summer. It was one of the best concerts I have seen in years period. It was also the best the Beach Boys have sounded in years. I was really looking forward to it. In the back of my mind I knew it would be the last time they would all be together for a while. All we can hope for is that maybe they will all get together for a 55 year reunion tour. I saw Mike Love's Beach Boys a few years ago at a concert which I really didn't want to go to, but my ex girlfriend wanted to see them. I knew what they were going to sound like. Terrible. They didn't dissapoint me. They sounded absolutely terrible, harmonies, if any sucked, way, way off. They sounded terrible. I would be embarrased if I was Mike Love. The real Beach Boys Fans know what the Beach Boys should sound like. The way they sounded on The 50th Anniversary Tour. Sure,without Dennis you were okay to keep on marching but then Carl was taken by cancer. You let your ego ensure the name and bickered with your family. Its ridicuolus. Live in the moment for the fans and your family not to mentino yourself. You will be enjoying yourself and be great with the team. Touring as you are without them it just does not make sense esspecially after the reunion. I hope you realize it and make it happen atleast in the studio. The power is in your hands,Mike.
