Restoration of Conference Office Programming Postitions

WHEREAS the Nurture, Youth, and Camping Ministries of the Tennessee Annual Conference have proven highly successful in spiritual formation and leadership development; and WHEREAS programming for children, youth, and young adults is vital to the future of our Church; and WHEREAS it is necessary to have dedicated staff to coordinate and arrange programming and ministries in these areas; and WHEREAS the decision to eliminate the programming positions from the Conference Office staff was made without input from any children, youth, or young adult coordinators or representitives; BE IT THEREFORE RESOLVED that the programming positions be immediately restored.

Mark and Rachel Hagewood are lay members of Hendersonville First UMC in the Cumberland District of the Tennessee Annual Conference, whose lives and faith journeys have been profoundly affected by the ministries of the TN Annual Conference.
