    Comments: Our hit by tornado and then few years later whole neighborhood area hit again and required national guard security for over a month. Scared we may not survive # 3 without a shelter. Help is needed to help people fund shelters in order to reduce loss of lives!

    Comments: Absolutely agree with this. VERY unfair to grant surrounding areas but not our state inwhich tornados happen VERY frequently as well as straight line winds and dangerous situations that storm shelters would be very useful. As a new home owner shopping for houses are rediculous to find that no one even seems to build basements anymore let alone a sturdy house and I feel that it is more of a requirement than anything else to install a storm shelter into my new home as my family has no other means of shelter from storms such as these.

    Comments: I have seven children that I need to protect. Ages ranging from 3 to 15. A storm shelter would be the best thing for my family in a tornado. I wouldn't have to sit in my little bathroom in the middle of my house, huddle down, hopeing that one of them will not die because of debri, fallen trees, or my whole house being demolished by a tornado. Grant money would help me and many other families I am sure.

    Comments: We just experienced an F3 tornado in our community Feb 29 2012, we are expecting to have another outbreak Friday Mar 2 2012, THis new outbreak is expected to be worse than the april 27 2011 tornadoes that hit our area. Iam one of thousands that own a home without a basement for protection. Shelter are necessary for our area but are expensive. Any kind of grant assistance toward the purchase of a storm shelter would be helpful and give us great peace of mind!! Please help us!!

    Comments: Lebanon, Tennessee does not have avaliable to the residents any type of storm shelter. You are told to go to the middle of your home, or seek out a someone with a basement. An F3 will demolish a home so going to the middle of your home is a death sentence.
