   Comments: With the high water table, most homes have a slab for the foundation. A storm shelter is need since no basement is available. Builders will not generally agree to install a shelter. Recently, I was talking to a building contractor about incorporating a storm room into a new house and he quoted $15000. Apparently, he didn't want to do it since he had never built one before. I didn't buy his house and he didn't build one for me either.

    Comments: Since we live in tornado alley we should have the same benefits as everyone else.I have a disabled child in wheelchair and I desperately need a storm shelter.When the tornado hit in Nashville, I could see it from my front porch.Please help.We need it.For myself, I cannot afford aa storm shelter now, but with help from any source it would be a prayer answered.We as Tennesseeans , voters, parents, caregivers etc. need this passed.A persons life cannot be replaced,Thank you.
