MikeI just feel as there is no direction in the product. If someone were to no watch for a couple of weeks, they would come back and be completely lost. My wife asks me all the time while I'm watching TNA "I though he was a bad", or "I though he was fighting with that guy", or "I thought he was really injured for a while". I honestly don't know what to tell her half the time as it seems as though Impact is a week to week show and not a continous program. I really hope things can change as I love some of the wrestlers and the matches, but the product is getting water downed with all the promos, interview segments, and just general shenanigans that have nothing to do with wrestling. If you want to be different than WWE, try acting like it. TNA currently reminds of WCW right before it went down.
AnonymousI think TNA should get back to what got them there, and that is the X division. I would like to see more x division matches on t.v. That is what set them apart in the first place, now they are just falling into the same rut that wwe is in, all big guys wrestling slow matches. I liked tna better when it was full of high spots and clean quick moves, not slow build up to a finisher. With some matches it's like watching a poor substitute for the wwe while others, namely the x division matches and matches featuring Christin and rhino. Additionally I would like to see matt morgen wrestle an actual match not a squash match every week...
Mike MasseyI love TNA. You have good veterans as well as good young talent. Right now your storylines and booking is just not as good as it could be. You have both members of the New Age Outlaws there and you ruined your attempt to push them. You also allowed a great young talent like Chris Harris to leave the company. I've chosen TNA over WWE. I hope things get better so that I don't regret my decision.
Bryan MarshallI started watching TNA in '05. It was a time when i personally believe that the X Division was the top attraction for TNA. I loved it. Those were good times. We were treated to great wrestling you'd usually only see in the independents like in ROH. Now they are considered by many viewers as a joke. They turned AJ Styles from a real phenomenal attraction to a complete child. That has changed recently but the horrible memory still lingers. You used to hear "Joe's gonna kill you" chants. Now all you hear is Joe screaming and complaining. Samoa Joe used to mean something. He was the talk of the wrestling world. Everyone said "Joe should be TNA's champion." Now that he is champ it just doesn't feel that special. They are booking him wrong and its sad. He doesn't seem unbeatable anymore. They should have never let Low Ki go. In my opinion Low Ki is one of the best in the world. That was not smart. TNA just seems like a circus to me now. Shark Boy and Super Eric are very embarrassing and I cringe every time i see them. I felt like they were on the right track back in 2005. They shouldn't be giving so much tv time to the old talent who don't have very many years ahead of them in this business. Guys like Booker T, Kevin Nash, Jeff Jarrett and Sting should not be getting much wrestling time. Jarrett's been gone awhile and that's been great. Booker T is a routine wrestler and his matches are very boring. Nash can barely walk. His knees are gonna snap. Its scary. And Sting. Ugh!!! Even when he was young i didn't see any talent. He got popular because people thought he looked cool. His matches are very very boring. People are not going to tune in when these guys are billed to wrestle. They just aren't. Their time has passed. No one is gonna tune into the Olympics to watch middle aged athletes compete. People want to see the best most athletic competition go head to head. So why would anyone want to watch these middle aged wrestlers go at it? We want to see the best go head to head. The guys i wanna see at the top are Samoa Joe, AJ Styles, Alex Shelley, Chris Sabin, Christopher Daniels (not curry man), Hernandez, Jay Lethal (as Jay Lethal, not Machismo), and I still like Kurt Angle. He's good no matter what promotion he wrestles for. So its been a long time and you're ratings haven't improved. Your ratings have been about the same for a long time. This is where you should start realizing that no one wants to see the wierd, comedy circus stuff. WE WANT WRESTLING. You have to have storylines but they don't have to be stupid. I'm tired of giving TNA second chances. I'm tired of tuning into Impact only to find myself rolling my eyes or getting angry because of how embarrassing this show has become. I know you like to throw some comedy in their but none of your comedy is funny. Colt Cabana is funny. He does wrestling comedy the right way. He does in the ring not in a lame promo like eric young. Curry Man and Shark Guy or Boy or whatever he's called are not funny. And Super Eric is the perfect definition of NOT FUNNY. Its just embarrassing. Please stop showing them. I will continue my boycott of TNA until they change. And stop trying to compete with WWE. You're not very good at that. They'll just bury you. Just give us a good show. PLEASE!!! Thanks!
AnonymousThe booking in Total Nonstop Action (TNA) Wrestling has been absolutely atrocious for the last year and a half. I desperately want to see TNA succeed, but I know it will never do so under its current creative direction. TNA needs a booker who understands long-term planning, how to build new stars, is in touch with the audience.

wajid ghanithe world title fight have been over booked on too many occasions and makes me feel cheated of a decent match and ppv everytime i watch the product lots of incredible talent but some of the worst bookings in the wrestling world
William FaulknerUsed to absolutely LOVE TNA, it was the oasis that wrestling fans had longed to find in the desert that was horrible WWE programing. I couldn't wait until the next week to see it on Fox Sports Channel and then Spike TV. Guys like Alex Shelly, Christopher Daniels, Chris Sabin, and even Jeff Jarrett made that company THE wrestling show for true wrestling fans. All of them, nearly every single "TNA Original" has taken a back seat to old WWE guys recently however. It just doesn't make sense to me. People started watching TNA because they were sick of WWE, then slowly it turned into exactly what people were turning away from. I just don't understand the logic behind this move. I understand that these "big names" were meant to boost recognition and draw new viewers, but the ratings prove that for every new viewer that was gained, a loyal one was lost, because they have practically stayed the same. I purpose a compromise, mix a "big name" in with original guys here and there, stop revolving the whole show around these people, it's just not working. Going back the old style of show will bring back the ones who once tuned in loyaly for a better product and the mixed in big names will keep the commercially interested fans and bring in some new ones as well. Just a thought. As much as I used to love TNA and long to love it again, WWE in recent weeks with their pushing of the younger talent has essentially replaced the old TNA, and new TNA has replaced old WWE.
Hank TelfordECW on Sci-fi is way more entertaining than you guys. They showcase WRESTLING. How about that. WWE's flagship show is RAW, then Smackdown and then ECW. ECW is only one hour and they're still getting better ratings than Impact. WOW. That's not good. I used to love TNA but i just can't watch anymore. It's painful. Please stop the circus. We want a wrestling show. Jeez.
IanThe booking is poor at best. They do not set up anything long term, everything is done month to month and the things change sometimes. They seem to devote a lot of time on useless angles that have no point. They are focussing most of the companies resources and TV time on the 40+ crowd. I remember a company called WCW that did this and buried it's emerging talent. And now WWE owns it. This will also happen to TNA if they do not try to push the guys that got them to where they are today. I'm not saying that the 40+ guys can not help, but when you're top 10 guys in the company are Kurt Angle (40), Booker T (43), Cage (35), Frank Trigg (36 & NEVER WRESTLED being in main event storylines), Jarrett (41), Nash (49), Sting (49), Scott Steiner (41), Bubba (37) & Devon (36). The only 2 guys from the younger generation who are main eventing are Styles & Joe. The rest are buried. Tried Storm & Roode as singles, that fell flat, now they're stuck in tag mode, that's called regression. Fix this PLEASE.
michael whelanThere are several things I have been dissatisfied with, but I will only focus on the recent bits. The overall booking of Samoa Joe vs. Booker T, for example. The fiasco in Houston made me regret purchasing the ppv. Furthermore, the Hard Justice match with them, and with Angle and Styles, respectively, took 4 phenomenal athletes and rather than playing to their strengths, put them in garbage matches. I'm also not at all fond of the fact that they are doing all they can to ram Sting down our throats as a heel, and Jarret as a face. I also am really frusturated by the misuse of Christopher Daniels and Frankie Kazarian, which speaks overall to a tendency to rely on past WWE or WCW talent rather than home grown stars for main eventing, with the exception of Joe and Styles.
Drew Martin
Michael OgleTNA has a great roster and its too bad they dont get more shine cause of the booking of TNA.
ErikThis is feeling like the failure of WCW part II. There are too many gimicks, not enough home grown stars, and poor direction at this point.
Coty Reynoldsi wanna say im a huge fan of TNA im not totally disastisfied by their product now i like the direction with angle and styles and the 3D and christian and rhyno but i feel they've kind of been letting the x division slip a little and you've got good talent you don't need all the gimmick matches like the black tie ball in chain match other than that i really don't have any complaints
Kent WaldronEvery match at a pay per view doesn't require a convoluted stipulation. Stop overusing Ultimate X. Make it feel special. Once a year, and make it the main event of a ppv. That's how you book it to feel special. I miss the Joe's gonna kill you chant as well. I think you guys have the better quality wrestlers compared to WWE. Let them wrestle in coherent storylines that don't end so abruptly. Jay Lethal and Sonjay is a good program. Random one month nonsense doesn't do it for me. Keep up with quality wrestlers, lower the nonsense. By the way, LAX vs Styles and Daniels was an amazing program that deserved more time. It was so good.
Josh Hackney
Nick WestTNA's phenomenal talent roster is being wasted as the show continues to focus too much on poorly-conceived backstage segments and not enough on having great matches, which is what put TNA on the map in the first place. We need to see a stronger focus on a strong tag team division, and need to give some credibility back to the X-Division Title. (Petey Williams wasn't even on Impact last week!) Let's have less "Prince Justice Brotherhood" stupidity and more in-ring action on Impact. And for the love of all that is good and holy, NO MORE stupid gimmick matches on PPV! The "Brawl and Chain" match had to be the biggest waste of talent in the history of pro wrestling.
Sean OuimetteTNA you have so much potential to be the signature company that represents what wrestling fans who want to see good athletic wrestling with good storylines and booking but youre missing the latter that could give wrestlers more of a push to the top iwish that you would consider attaining a new booking and creative team to better your company and arise above the monster that is wwe that has destroyed wrestling in north america in my opinion
ryan greeni too am an avid wrestling fan. i got turned on to tna back in 05 as i saw it as an alternative to the wwe. i thought and still do think that tna offers better wrestling but creatively it has hit a low point with the signings of former wwe talent and on not pushing homegrown tna stars like they should. i am not happy with tna's current direction but i would love to see someone give the wwe a run for its money.
ajstylesmarkreasons why iMPACT! doesn't have ratings 1) the impact zone looks cheap 2) intro/theme is the same since 2005 3) posters are so bad they look fake 4) the cross the line videos are annoying as hell 5) the booking isn't appealing... i cant remember any excellent storyline in the last 2 years 6) too many gimmick matches 7) publicity? why spending money on someone like pacman when you can use that money to hire a decent booking team??? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- 8) Christopher Daniels and KAZ are "dead" for no f'n reason
Chris JohnsonThese days it seems that the current TNA product is lacking in serious story lines that get peoples attention for the right reason. TNA needs to realise that the evolution of the wrestling business is in the x division and main personalities in that division. We do not need someone like petey williams being a scott steiner wannabe when he is a high flyer. i hope for his career that this is actually going somewhere otherwise that is just stupid. Anyway use the oportunity of the fall of the cruiserweights to appeal to the new more extreme wrestling fan and stop hiring old talent who have already made their name and start using the independant promotins and ROH to find the new faces of professional wrestling and make WWE look like old guys moving in slowmotion.
Alifirstly i want to declare that TNA is THE BEST!!! love watching your show every week :) thank you for your hard work. but i really really feel insulted when you use religious references in your characters and stories. examples: - the raeesha saeed character (disrespectful to muslim women and just fuels the unnecessary hatred) - shiek abdul bashir (especially using quran in his theme song. you wouldnt like it if the bible was misused in such a manner!) - and please NEVER let anybody say they are 'better than GOD' or any such stupid comments (like how BBRay dudley did a while back) and i think more than going to Monday night, you need to go 3 hours, coz 2 hours is not enough!!! TNA! TNA! TNA!
Adam MorganI think TNA should make their T.V. tapings more like their house shows. If you are wrestling, stop having rubbish gimmick matches. There should be a point to a match!

kevinim very unhappy with the bookings they try to have to many gimmicks. they have a great roster if they would just use it right. the one thing i do like is what they are doing with sting, jeff jarrett, bookert, samoa joe, and kevi nash. if they would have more storylines like that the programming would be great.
John MaritatoI am registering my disapproval of the TNA booking. So many great talents. So much misuse.
Jared LumleyI've been watching TNA since day one, will be a fan until (and I mean that in an if sort of way) the day they end. But it seems things have changed, the company that was once centered around the idea of a revolutionary X Division, has slowly become somewhat of a soap opera. Watching Bound For Glory 05, the first BIG PPV of TNA, made me remember how good the company really was when they had REAL stars in the X Division, like Styles and Daniels, but also guys like Kaz, Michael Shane, Amazing Red, Low Ki, etc. They were all amazing, now you mask up half of them and move the rest to the World Title division, which is fine, but you have to fill the void with more quality stars, one Petey WIlliams just doesn't quiet cut it. The World title division was amazing from day one, even when Jeff Jarrett was really the only WORLD champion in the World title rankings, it always seems to be the best World Title division in the world, watching Bound For Glory made me remember how much TNA use to be able to work on the go, Nash v Jarrett, and Nash doesn't show, no worries, it made the PPV one of the most memorable nights in my whole life of watching wrestling, to see that monsters ball match and that jump with Hardy, and the Rhino driver of the ropes for the win, then Rhino goes on to win the gauntlet and then the World TItle, was amazing, the celebration and atmosphere that was at that PPV when Rhino held that belt above his head has been one of the TNA memories I'll hold close to my heart forever. Lets just put it this way, I started watching TNA because it was an alternative, I continued watching because guys like AJ Styles showed me that this sport has indeed evolved and that WWE and other companies are living in the past, when you got guys like Christian Cage, Sting, Kurt Angle and Booker T choosing TNA over ANY other company in the world, it shows to me, that the REAL wrestlers of this sport, of this wrestling world, know where the real action is at. Watching a company grow will always be more interesting than watching one 'try' and dominate the sport... But watching TNA lately has been like watching Mike Tyson... The guy use to be an animal, a machine, he bite someones fucking ear off... Now hes a pussy cat... TNA use to be ruthless, the fastest paced, action packed wrestling in the world, the most heart felt and talented promos, minimal storyline because too much storyline takes away from the wrestling. All I'm saying is, Kurt Angle is the best wrestler in the world, AJ Styles has the potential to be the greatest wrestler of all time. Is that not storyline enough for you? And is that premise of a storyline EXACTLY why we all jumped out of our seats in late 2005 when it became 'damn real'? I marked out because the best wrestler in the world finally had come to the best company in the world. Now you want me to get excited about the duded wife interviewing people for no reason? I tend to rant, but I have a passion for this company, and for this sport. I feel privaliged to have seen the many moments in TNA that I will never forget, and I just want, like many others, to somehow have a way to push this company into the direction WE want... BUT WAIT?!?!? Why do we listen to US? Well, because its WE that are the fans, and its WE that tune in to watch the show, I've watched wrestling, WWE, WWF, WCW, ECW, TNA, ROH, AAA, NOAH, NJPW, IWA, NWA, etc. my whole life, few companies you watch and feel that you truly are a port of their 'family' like you do with TNA. TNA has always appreciated their fans for being there, now show a little more faith in us and trust our mass opinion, you guys have the power in TNA so do it!
joe moransort that shit out no more crazy angles
Jeff PritchardI have 4 points on what I believe will help TNA. 1) TNA needs to focus on developing their own stars. Stop leeching off of older talent that is no longer relevant anymore. There are many reasons why WCW died, and pulling old talent from that company is not going to draw more interest to the TNA product. The same applies to the "washed up" talent from WWE. There are expemptions to be made for "made" stars with real wrestling talent that should be picked up by TNA. TNA will succeed by offering something different than the competition. If the TNA roster is filled up by old talent from WWE, WCW, and ECW then how is those same companies? I might as well watch the competition to catch the fresher talent while they are in their prime. I believe that TNA has done well with a handful of homegrown talent such as AJ Styles, Samoa Joe and Christopher Daniels. I also believe that Kurt Angle was an amazing aquisition and Christian definately adds to the TNA product. 2) The X-Division stars should be the draw of the show. ECW created a unique atmosphere and different approach to wrestling, much like TNA has done with the X-Division. The X-DIvision reminds me of why I started watching wrestling to begin with, the athleticism and spots, and it reminds me of why I kept watching wrestling all these years, the story-telling and art form. 3) Give me a reason to care about the TNA product. My interest in pro wrestlig has definately declined since my favorite wrestler killed his wife, son and himself. I was, and still am, hurt. Now I probably watch about 1 hour of wrestling a month, where as before I was watching almost 30 hours a month. I stay current with the products by reading Lordsofpain.net and I keep waiting for something to bring me back. 4) The unique gimmick matches are really good. Except King of the Hill as the rules are kind of backwards and confusing. I could go on further, but I would like to keep it short so this gets read by TNA.
D WardI used to watch TNA however now I barely tune in simply because it frustrates me too much. If the show was rubbish full stop it wouldnt be a problem. What annoys is the fact that they have great talent and a great opportunity to shake up North American wrestling - yet the bookers let everyone down. In the last two years they've gained an extra hour of TV, started taking PPV's out of Florida and gained some fantastic names, yet it still feels as though there in the exact same place as they were at the begining.
AnonymousTNA needs to get rid of the comedy and the over the top gimmicks such as curry man, shark boy, and especially super eric. TNA is almost as unwatchable as WWE. Also less knock outs and 20 year old WWF/E storylines.
david clarki agree with you need to be better booking on tna and to find out what stings deal is
Raymond Ortiz
AnonymousCompetition is good, however TNA's booking is god awful. There is an enormous amount of talent, arguably more talent than the WWE, however, the use of this talent is killing the talents' names. Having some type of gimmick in just about every match is a typical Vince Russo deal, however, when WCW fell under, who led them in to the sea with terrible booking, and a gimmick in every match. He is a talented and entertaining booker, but should not be allowed more than 2 angles per show. They took a very good thing, possibly the only thing that will ever come close to WWE, and ruined it.
Michael KeeneI have not been watching TNA for more than 6 months now but I have noticed the way you all try to always fit in EVERY wrestler into EVERY segment, Leaving little to no room to low-mid card wrestlers, Im not here to do that fire russo crap I just think that a little work could make TNA much, much better. Sincerely, Michael
Andrew CombsI just have to say... I love TNA. But I hate to see where it's headed as a company. The over the top SENSELESS booking crap NEEDS to stop. FOCUS ON THE WRESTLING... THAT IS WHAT MATTERS
Hank SkinnerTNA is great but here of late its been like WCW. The storylines are comicbook written.I really liked TNA when they were on FSN because you had storylines but it had a real feel. Rock on TNA im behing yall all the way.
Kent LittleTNA, please stop trying to be WWE. You're not. You were great at one time. Stop trying to use has-beens like Kevin Nash and Sting to try and sell your product and focus on the amazing younger talent you have, such as the members of the X-Division. The reason the Knockouts are the best thing going are because they're fresh. Let Shark Boy and Jay Lethal be Shark Boy and Jay Lethal, not Stone Cold and Macho Man. Stop with all the convoluted gimmick matches. One or two per ppv are fine, but not the entire show. Some of us are fans of WRESTLING and enjoy watching a well put together match without any stipulations. Hype your talent, not the type of match. Put the wrestlers' abilities to the forefront and get rid of the dead weight, even if that weight is mostly due to a big name.
Brian GloverI think TNA does need a new direction in its booking so that ratings can increase and their fanbase will grow
Edward ClaytonI'm one of the bigger TNA fans you're likely to find, but even I admit this company has some booking problems they need to deal with. I am completely sick of the never-ending parade of gimmick matches. Why so many gimmick matches? Cuffed in a Cage, Misty on a Pole, Deuce's Wild, Stand By Your Man Strap match, Britney Spears Makeover match, Brawl & Chain match... Seriously, where does it end? What happened to just a plain old regular wrestling match?
ric
David KroghTNA is still better than the WWE in my opinion, but there needs to be some changes made. #1 Please stop making so many gimmick matches, let the wrestler's true talent shine through #2 Stop devauling the X Division and make it the glorious haven of wrestling it once was.

BillBooking sucks, fueds are short and stupid and what's with the comic book hero squad? What am I 2 years old? Fire Russo and promote the young good talent you have that's worked they tails off to get your promotion off the ground! Enough with the growing pains, the company is over 6 years old and has to become it's own, not a WWE wannabe like the direction your going now.
Ericthese are some quick things i think are wrong. Im am not bashing them it just feels like they got all the talent but not a direction. im not hating. too many promos. fueds end to early. no marketing. over selling everything. Announcers need not to oversell everything. a train wreck in fast foward is still a train wreck. im not bashing but they need to slow things down. Build superstars dont get every WWE reject. Do not copy WCW. stop mentioning other promotions while doing a promo. like ECW (old), WCW, or WWE/WWF. Expand where TNA has shows. Stop paying millions to old wrestlers. Make new wrestlers. You have all the talent just not using them right. Not every match has to be a stipulation match, you will just desensitize the audience. Heels can win cleanly, sometimes. Not every match should end in a DQ, or interference. a show should have the climax at the end of the show. not the end of every match, it gets stale. Stop rehashing old gimmicks, old storylines. and please please fire Russo.
Kenn WebbTNA has a golden opportunity that it is wasting. WWE is very vulnerable at the moment and TNA continues with storylines with no real interest
Scott McCulloughLet me first say that TNA is blessed with having some of the most athletic and exciting performers that 'sports entertainment' has ever seen. The company itself has shown its creativity time and time again with matches like Ultimate X and the new Terrordome. Unfortunately it sometimes seems like TNA has lost its direction with TOO MANY gimmick matches on a regular basis instead of focusing on what TNA fans truly want to see: wrestling. Christopher Daniels is a lot more entertaining to watch than Curry Man; Frank Kazarian moreso than 'Suicide', and John Hugger is miles ahead of Rellik. Mark LoMonaco was bang on the money when he once said, "...one thing you'll never see in TNA are zombies!" Of course he was referring to some ridiculous and over-the-top characters that have completely overshadowed the talent that plays them. The 'wrestling' show has slowly been turned into a circus show and many fans, including myself, are losing interest. TNA has STELLAR athletes who should have the spotlight on their human selves instead of their gimmicks. The women's division is flourishing and it would be nice to see the X division return to its glory. The World X Cup is a blast to watch because it is simply wrestling at its finest with NO major storylines to get in the way. I can immediately recall the Joe/AJ/Daniels matches, which mostly fill the top-10 list. The tag team matches between LAX and Daniels/Styles were absolutely incredible, and they had no reason to wrestle other than to wrestle. We sorely need more of that. TNA has so much going for it but it feels like the light at the end of the tunnel never gets any closer. Why not showcase some classic WRESTLING to catapult us through that tunnel? Every single individual in the company, both in the locker room and in the office, is capable of being at the top. I truly do believe that TNA can rocket ahead... thank you for listening and thank you for everything you have given us over the last few great years.
