AnonymousTNA has too many gimmick matches, I would like to see more wrestling, and not so many matches with weird stipulations.

Neumaneverything does not need to end in a gimmic match
Steve HarrellIn my opinion, at this point the talent is better in TNA than WWE, ESPECIALLY in the women's division. If anyone in TNA knew how to book matches it would undoubtedly take off and rival the WWE ratings-wise.
Cameron Hill
Aaron PlenskeI used to love TNA. I litterally stopped watching WWE because TNA was such a breath of fresh air. They have such an amazing, talented roster, many of which are the future of the sport. But the booking has been way over the top in recent years. It's to gimmicky, and most matches end in interference or have some overbooked finish. I cannot watch TNA anymore with out getting upset. I once looked over at my friend and said,"You know, they used to wrestle on this show." Please TNA, go back to square one and do the simple, smart booking that made me love you guys so much.
MaxTwo words... X-Division. This used to be the lifeline of TNA, this used to be the reason why people loved TNA... Hell it's the reason that TNA matters! Forget about Angle, Booker T, etc... It's the X-Division! Have they not noticed that the World X Cup was the most watched thing? The only, ONLY, good thing about TNA right now... Christian Cage and AJ Styles not jobbing to Kurt Angle like everyone else has.
SeanThere have been some awful decisions made by the bookers there, even though I still watch the show every week. Why were Serotonin not given the push they deserved? And other wrestlers and tag teams could get a better push(Motor City Machine Guns, Kaz etc).
AnonymousTNA has so much talent and seems to be be being wasted . listen to YOUR fans without us there is no TNA..
StevenSave the gimmicks for special occasions. Don't bury talent that is trying hard to put over older guys who don't care anymore. Focus more on talent than big names. Get rid of all of that and you have an allright show.
Joel WI used to watch TNA for its X Division and now it is little to non existant on the show like it used to be. And they are also missing the boat on one of the potentially greatest tag teams put together in Motor city Machineguns. A feud between them and LAX would've been amazing for the TNA Tag Titles
M BeanI want to care about TNA, but I just can't. The fact that Samoa Joe, one of my favorite wrestlers, is champion, and I STILL don't care means that they're doing something horrendously wrong. I can't really tell them what to do to make it right, but then again, it's not my job, and the people whose job it IS aren't doing it right.
AnonymousTNA, This compnay has so much to offer...potential. My only comment is if you book the program like it's second rate...then it's second rate. The overall presentation of the company feels beneath the WWE. You can't compete with a company and expect to attract viewers by playing second fiddle. Everything just looks and feels cheap, from the backstage area, to the thanksgiving feast you guys had, it just felt...Second rate. On to the booking, get rid of all those gimmicks. The superhero nonsense is not drawing. Now it's understandable as to why you would have Superhero gimmicks, well it's to appeal to a different audience. If thats the case why use talented superstars to do so? Eric Young and Shark boy do a phenominal job. Curry man needs to be Christopher Daniels and Kaz does not need to be "Suicide". My suggestion is keep it simple and to a minimal. Where's the X-division? Stop giving away PPV quality matches on regular broadcasts, no one would buy the PPV if they are going to get the same quality on tv. The knockouts are amazing. Overall, I am not an expert or in the buisness, but I am a fan and I am just expressing my opinions.
David HicksWith the most talented wrestlers on earth, TNA should have the best wrestling show on earth. Sadly, this is not the case. This is why I have signed this petition.
Anthony Robles
AnonymousThe booking is indeed awful. I just hope this petition can save us from what should be the greatest wrestling program on TV.
Daniel HillI am so disappointed in TNA's book and writing. It is just aweful. I mean like in almost every match there is a run in from like a thousand different people. And all of their storylines just run together in one big big mess. I am writing this because I want TNA to step it up and give me some good programing because I want them to compete with WWE. But right now they are just getting worse and worse. And what is up with all the gimmic matches. Enough with those things. They have gimmic matches way too much, and the gimmic matches they do have really suck. The rules to it make no since and its just a big mess. Please TNA change your programing and give me something good to watch.
Rashaun HiltonI sign because I really enjoy the wrestling in TNA. but they have picked up too many established guys and the people who really made the company have been thrown aside. I also don't want t feel like I'm watching a cartoon every time I watch impact. The quality af action and wrestling is much better than WWE but they spend way too much time in backstage stuff and the angles just don't make a whole lot of sense.

AnonymousTrue. TNA have the best talents but really bad bookings. Too much gimmicks, and some are so impossible it makes us viewers seems like idiots watching it. Those stupid gimmicks always reminds me that I have better things to do than to so stupidly watch the 'unbelievable' angles. Over-used old WWE guys too much. Let the old guys push the young talents. Not the other way round. Use old guys as managers. Create more stables. Let the managers do gimmicks. Let wrestlers be wrestlers.
BrandonPlease , please, please hire a new creative team for TNA. TNA has so much potential and it is being wasted with the current creative team. My I suggest the best person to bring TNA creative t excellence. do what ever you can to hire Paul Heyman as head of TNA creative. You will not be sorry.
BrandonThis is exactly what needs to be done in order to compete and stay afloat against WWE.
chris squirePlease do some longer burning storylines TNA, here in the UK your hard hitting high fying action is really catching on with the young fans but give them some long running storylines to make this must see tv. WWE is now trying to constantly swerve its fans, move away from that yourselves and create dynamic tales that suck us in each week. On the plus side at east everyone on your tv show has a character. Just try and take the lengthy feuds of yesteryear and mix them with the fast paced action and i will purchase EVERY ppv. Chris Squire
Jeffery HudsonI to am fed up with the booking direction of TNA. Don't get me wrong, I watch Impact every week and your wrestlers have fantastic workrates....but the poor booking and lack of creative they have been saddled with amazes me sometimes. In the course of one year you have made me hate Samoa Joe and his whinny attitude you have booked him with. Two years ago, Joe was the biggest bad ass in the business and the 'second comming' of Goldberg. Watching Samoa Joe wrestle was always a pleasure and his creative direction was great. But somthing changed around Slammivsery 2007...when Joe was the only person in the match not elegable to win it. That started nearly a 1 year 'losing' streak...not of losing matches but losing credibility as the true bad ass he had been for the years he'd been in TNA before then. Now, I see Samoa Joe in a promo and I just want to turn the channel. I ignore him. He has nothing important to say to me. Don't get me wrong, I love watching him wrestle and I WANT you to keep him as world champ, just return him to the bad ass he used to be and what TNA fans wanted a year ago when we clamored for him to be world champion. I could go on and on about the horrible booking of the MMG's or the retarded "wedding" angle of Dutt and Lethal, or a missed opportunity with a truly fun take on the Rock and Rave Infection, or the ridiculous amounts of gimmick matches that abound in TNA today (why do we need a prince of darkness deathmatch INSIDE a steel cage? Wasn't just the cage enough to put Storm and Harris over?). I could go on and on. The only thing I can say that is going well is the Knockouts....you haven't messed them up yet it least. You did completly mess up a golden opportunity with Roxxy after her shaving incedent. You had so much pathos built up from the crowed that you could have made her a mega star over night. Instead you have her two weeks on camera to get her revenge and she's pretty much disappeared from the limelight since then....but I guess you can't hear the "Roxxy" chants from the crowed for her. In short, TNA needs to fix their creative and booking. Your all over the place with your ideas (Like Sting being in 5 different angles even though he's not even on TV) and treat your fans as idiots who can't even enjoy a simple wrestling match anymore....you always feel like you have to gimmick things up to make us enjoy it....and instead your just showing us how retarted some of your ideas really are. The only thing that seems to work are new "signature" matches like Ultimate X. Every time TNA "creative" tries to mix gimmick matches (like the disastrous Leathal/Dutt "Black Tie Brawl and Chain" Match all you get is "Fire Russo" and "Boring" chants. STOP MIXING GIMMICK MATCHES TOGETHER. Treat your fanbase as if we are intelligent. Let your talent speak for themselves and get over on their own. And when they get over with the fan base....reward your fans with what they want to see THEN....not with a watered down version of it a year later. Simply put, I stopped watching WWE 3 years ago because of bad/offensive creative decisions. And I see TNA slipping into the same trap that WWE is in now...lack of creative, lack of trust of talent, and the show wanders desperately looking for a direction to go in. Here's some free advice....try just having traditional wrestling. Yes, there is a place for the high flying X division and new (cool) concept matches, but really....as the old saying goes...'just shut up and wrestle'. To end with an example of what you guys SHOULD be doing...look at Nintendo with the Wii. THey finally decided to stop "competing" with Sony and MIcrosoft and just build a game system....that's what it does...it plays games. it doesn't act like a media center, it doesn't run linux, it just plays games....and they are the number one console in the world right now. And that's what TNA should do....stop worrying about competing with McMahon. Just put the best wrestling product out there. Turn TNA into the wrestling fans WRESTLING show. Bring back the golden age of wrestling found in the 80's...you know where wrestling was what was important. Don't worry about being 'mainstream'...it's overrated anyway. Just worry about putting out the best wrestling product with traditional creative and your fan base will dramatically increase and you will be seen as the real wrestling alternative to the childish WWE.
Frank KringSome of the booking in TNA is great but a lot of the times it just stinks. i love how they have done Angle and Styles. very good there. Samoa Joe as the champ has not been done so good. i like Samoa Joe and i think he deserves the belt, but the programs he was in Booker was terrible. the knockouts division needs some help too. it keeps coming back down to Gail Kim and Awesome Kong and Taylor Wild. throw in some more Salinas and Christy Hemme. or bring in some new talent.
Paul HuberI am a long time hardcore TNA fan and although I think TNA is leaps and bounds better than WWE I still believe there is something to be desired with the current booking situation. TNA still lacks that big storyline to make you sit at the edge of your seat every week and leave you wanting more till you see it again the next week. That one thing that makes you say "I HAVE to buy this PPV" rather than "Eh it would be fun to order I guess". It would seem to me that they spend too much time rehashing and revamping old storylines that were succesful in the past and too much time comparing themselves to WWE, (sometimes even being critical of WWE on TV) This to me is anoying and makes me wish they would spend more time just being TNA, then mentioning WWE on there programming. Also the amount of gimmic matches are seeming to grow once again. This appears to jump up from time to time for some reason. People want to see gimmic matches from time to time at the right time. Not just any gimmic match ALL the time. There is also too much repackaging of charecters, although people love Curry Man we also miss The Fallen Angel, and as much as I am sure we are going to love Suicide, I KNOW people are going to miss Kaz. I would like to see TNA look for people outside of the company to play some of these parts rather than repackage its own charecters that the audience loves. There are already too many cartoony style charecters in TNA to take away seriouse ones and turn them into cartoons is just silly. There needs to be a ballance. I do like how storylines and events start long before a feud begins. This gives storylines purpose rather than just looking like they are starting random storylines for no reason like WWE. I love TNA and by no means am I being turned away from the product, but I would like to see TNA try and atract a crowd based on there action, like the old days I watch some of my old DVDs and I hear Mike Tenay and Don West say things like "Our action is what put us on the map" And I would love to see TNA get back to that. You will atract more people with strait farward action then you will goofy gimmics and cartoony storylines anyday. I am tired of seeing Super Eric and Sharkboy goofing around I want to see Action.
Stephen SwannCan TNA please listen ot the hardcore fans of the show please instead of trying to please WWE idiots. Kurt Angle summed it up perfectly the other week on a Radio interview when he said TNA fans don't wanna watch gimmick matches in TNA. They want proper 1 on 1 matches with the best of the talent they've got. That being guys like Kurt Angle, AJ Stlyes, Consequences Creed, Jay Lethal, Sonjay Dutt etc. Please listen cause im ghetting bored of the same old crap. Vince Russo should get control over the booking and get this sorted out. Also LAX should never be split up. Many Thanks UK's number 1 fan

darrell hargestplease change the booking style and story lines in tna with alot less gimmick mathes.i am a life long wrestling fan of all styles of wrestling and love having another promotion to watch every week.STOP the cheesy high school drama,STOP book the talent in away that makes them and the company look bad and STOP the gimmick mathes every week it gives them no meaning.I want to see tna make it as a company and am looking forward to the new facilites.p.s. nash is over paid dw cant commentate and the talent is wasted
ROBAlthough Tna has its mistakes it is still light years above wwe in the booking department.
TaylorI would like TNA to find a new way to book there storylines because i enjoy there wrestling more then wwes but the storylines for the most part make my headhurt
steve scarpettiI used to watch TNA every week. It was a great program and much better than WWE. Now, TNA is a mess!!! You have some amazing wrestlers but are using them in some god awful stories.
David BrooksI used to LOVE TNA, but, lately that's changed. The booking's beyond sub-par, & an insult to longtime wrestling fans. As a joke, my name for the company is Total Nonstop Assimilation, because it appears that all they want is to be considered WWE lite. I can understand wanting talent that was just released by WWE as a way to up your profile to advertisers, but now the show is nothing but a bad rip off of what WWE was 8 years ago. What's worse, is that Samoa Joe has become a walking cliche, spouting all the same crap week in & out. It's like he's channeling Jim Ross. TNA needs to refocus themselves to developing new talent & let them carry the ball, instead of relying on BG James, Booker, & Team 3D. At least Christian Cage & Kurt Angle are entertaining, although Kurt's bordering on being boring. I really do want to see TNA succeed, they have a huge upside. I just think that Vince Russo needs to at least share his booking/writing duties with someone who's capable of coming up with a fresh idea, not a rehash of something that was boring, even back in 97-2000. All I know, is that when I start wishing that Jeff Jarrett would show up & start calling everyone is sight slapnuts, then crown them with his guitar, something's wrong.
Brenda TorresThe one thing that gets on my nerves are the way to long promos. Also the men need to on their on camara personalities.
Rhys RobertsAbout Time!
Nathan McConleyENOUGH of the gimmicks week in & week out! Stop ending every PPV with controversy!
Brenden MyersTNA's booking since going to prime time has become non sensical. Illogical and matches have beocme pretty much useless. It goes against everything that made pro wrestling great and only serves to make WWE's product better by comparison
S A WEnough with the Knockouts. I don't watch wrestling to see women strutting around, showing off their fake tits and trying to pretend they can wrestle. More than one women's "wrestling match" per broadcast is not necessary. Time for the old men to check out and the young, new talent to step up. We need more of AJ Styles, Christian Cage, and Kaz and less of Sting, Kurt Angle, and Booker T. Until TNA stops being "The Kurt Angle Show" and stops placing Knockouts in the main event, I'll take my ratings contributions and PPV money to WWE.
SteveTNA has the best talent roster of WRESTLERS available on U.S. tv, however the tv show doesn't let them showcase that as the matches frequently take a backseat to endless skits and promos and are hampered by confusing storylines and endless turns, run ins and gimmick matches. Please allow the wrestling to do the talking and allow for some intense athletic competition sparked by quests for championships or good old fashioned sporting rivalry rather than cheap soap opera - WWE do enough of that.
JaneI want the old TNA back. =[
BobbyI've grown up watching wresting. I watched NWA and WCW and noticed how everything has gotten away from the older style of wrestling that had more wrestling and less talking. Maybe if this is brought back, then it would attract more viewer, I know I would watch more. WCW appealed more to families and that seems to be the way TNA is trying to appeal to. Needs to get back to the original Good vs. Evil.
Jason CurranTNA: I started watching you because it was different. At the time, WWE was full of talking for 75% of the show. One day, I'm flipping around and I find TNA with guy jumping everywhere and landing sweet moves. Overnight I became a big TNA fan. And what was better, they were bringing in Sting, my absolute favorite wrestler of all time. But you've slipped. Your high-flying psychos of your X-Division has dwindled. Your world champion is a whiney brat. Sting is being overused for everything. "Hey we need another guy in this storyline. I know! We'll throw Sting in because he's popular and even though he's in 5 other storylines!" And where is your tag division? All I hear about now is LAX and Beer Money Inc. And along with everyone else on this petition, stop with the gimmick matches week in and week out. Save them for the PPVs. That has to be one thing that WWE is doing right. But I do have to hand it to you, though. Your women's division is spectacular, the best I've seen in years. Please, TNA, listen to your audience. Once you do, maybe you'll be able to consistently beat ECW (worst rated WWE program) in the ratings with one key element: Good Wrestling.
Justin WallOne thing that has surprised is that no one has mentioned how the titles mean NOTHING! When TNA and the NWA went their seperate ways, TNA had an opportunity to build their own title into a credible world title. Instead, they crapped all over it by overbooking storylines, overbooking finishes, and overbooking gimmick matches. The only time a title should be defended in a gimmick match is to blow off a feud. The title is supposed to be representitive of the best there is to offer in its particular division. As much as like Joe's work, there has been a worthwhile Heavyweight Title match since Lockdown. As much as I enjoy Beer Money, the Tag Titles have been dead since the AJ/Daniels vs LAX feud. How about Petey Williams? The guy has a finisher that screams X-Division, yet he needs help to finish off Creed. As for the women, I won't complain just due to the fact their matches have at least made some sense. Now, as for gimmick matches, I agree, there have been too many gimmick matches. What makes the problem even worse is that they are BAD gimmick matches. A Reverse Battle Royal? WTF? Last Rites Match? Huh? Lets get some good old 1-on-1 matches, and just for a change, have some clean finishes. Maybe when that happens, we won't have to start petitons in order to vent our frustrations.
Omar1-Too many gimmick matches doesn't improve the product,it hurts it.While having one or two gimmick matches every now and then on PPV then have a PPV for gimmick matches like LockDown is a good thing, but overbooking gimmick matches even making more than half of the matches either on Impact and on PPV kills the product because then whats the point if having a six sides of steel PPV when you book other PPVs the same way. 2-Mentioning WWE's name too much is free advertising for the Stamford based company even when you're bashing them if TNA wants to get stronger then they have to concentrate on their program and forget about WWE because they're still far behind competing with the WWE. 3-Stop making gimmicks that were done in the 80s and 90s or those cartoonish ones and have your own gimmicks who fits the style of those who watch wrestling today.Christopher Daniels,Jay Lethal,Eric Young and Shark Boy will be more successful if they left their current parodic / clown gimmicks and have realistic ones.Same can be said with the angles done on your program. 4-Have your own talents main-events,while having ex-WWE talent help you get some publicity putting them over your own TNA original makes the original TNA roster look weak plus it demolishes the concept of being an alternative to WWE because this makes you feel you're watching a replay of an old WWE program not a new one. 5-Try to be more creative. Thanks and I wish you the very best.
NICI THINK ITS TIME TO MOVE FORWARD WITHTHE YOUNG TALENT. DROP THE CONSTANT STREAM OF GIMMICK MATCHES. SIDE YOURSELF APART FROM WWE AS PRO WRESTLING AND NOT "RASSLIN" OR SPORTS ENTERTAINMENT.
Alec MagillWhen People Chant Fire Russo. I Chant Back Hire Russo. TNA Books Better Then The Competition.
Jeremiah Cundiff
Tom LumleyJust some sensible clean finishes with very few (possibly none) run-ins/interference in the main events would be nice. Also could the face/heel status be observed, preserved, and taken account when shows are written, as this has been a big mess recently. I support TNA despite these problems but would love to see an improved product.
