Name: Tim on Jul 10, 2009Comments: The convenience charges are flat out absurd. Frankly, speaking Ticketmaster IS a monopoly. There is no other service like it so they can charge these ridiculous convenience charges. They should learn to be profitable without these charges.Flag

Name: Ben Perry on Jan 10, 2010Comments: I just ordered 4 tix at an event at the Tacoma Dome in Tacoma, WA. The tickets face value is a total of $60. After Ticketmaster's convenience fee, processing fee, facility fee, tax, and fee to print my tickets out myself (what???) the total came to $104.76. That's an additional $44.76 on $60 tickets!!! I wasn't aware of the ridiculously high charges until the last second. Ticketmaster is terrible in every way except for the fact that it provides a necessary service (...and that service could be provided by a more ethical company, if it weren't for the fact that Ticketmaster is essentially a monopoly.)Flag

Name: Antwoine Davis on Feb 21, 2010Comments: There has to be some violations of anti-trust laws here.... Ticketmaster and Live Nation have monopolized the market. As a result, the consumers are being gouged with ridiculously high fees. The buying public should be given the option to buy tickets direct from the venue at a much lower cost.Flag

Name: Melanie Tsao on May 27, 2010Comments: I am utterly disgusted at the insane fees Ticketmaster continues to charge its customers. If they need to charge fees, it should be one fee PER ORDER, NOT ONE fee per ticket. I recently purchased 2 tickets at the original price of $22, and after all their ridiculous fees, the total amount came out to $66.75. That is $11 extra per ticket. They charged me a facility fee PER ticket/convenience fee PER ticket, processing fee PER ticket, and taxes. This is unacceptable and I am shocked that the government has allowed this to go on for this long.Flag
