AnonymousTicketmaster is evil, and must be destroyed.
AnonymousThe consumer's choice is two: get gouged by Ticketmaster, or hope that the box office will be open in a venue--and that's never reliable, the San Francisco Filmore Auditorium being a great example. These hidden charges--what's the difference between a "convenience fee" and a "processing fee"? Someoe should investigate this gouging.
AnonymousMonopolistic practices, horrible service... this is unAmerican.

Anonymousconcert going, sadly another hobby of the rich.
Piyush VaidyaI purchased tickets for Bryan Adams and the listed ticket price was $10. By the time the convenience charge etc added up I paid $22.50 per ticket.
Ajay Gautam
Jacquelynn ThomasI thought monopolies were illegal.
Andrew G.The service charges have to come down. They're just ridiculous.
Ian SnewTicketmaster rips everyone off. They should be fired from all events. I would much rather go through the individual venue or some other fair or nonprofit company to purchase tickets than to get raped by this horrible horrible company.

AnonymousOutrageous fees and NO customer service. The phone numbers don't even connect. I'm going to the venue in person, incredibly annoying that even charging an arm and a leg they can't provide tickets.
Alexander S. JacksonI hope this will actually do something.
Brian PrendergastConvinience fee??!! yeah, convenient for the greedy Ticketmaster
Cierra AltmanTicketmaster is an ACTUAL Monopoly
AnonymousTicketmaster's monoply on concert tickets should be investigated immediately.
Joe MaloneThis is a crime
Jeremy henleyyes ticketmaster does suck!
Mason TrombleeCharging a "convenience charge" for EACH TICKET online, when in fact it is a single transaction and the costs of operation would be the same for selling one ticket or ten in a single transaction, should be a criminal offense. TicketMaster is also virtually a monopoly.
Martin CarneyFees are ridiculas. Seat selection are not an option. I purchased tickets for Robin Willimans only to get poor seats, one day later, I went back and better seats were offered.

AnonymousTicketmaster is breaking the law by showing false prices for events. The post purchase fees must be shown upfront and really should be removed because they are completely bogus charges. Bands should sell tickets through their sites and take Ticketmaster out of the equation. The price must be the price. Its false advertising at its worst.
Daryl MiglerI purchased 4 tickets to a concert for 42.50 each, and was charged an additional 56.26 in fees. I would really like to know what a convenience fee is any why it cost me an additional 9.75 per ticket. WHAT A RIP OFF!!!!
AnonymousI recently tried to purchase tickets to Ray Lamontagne. The tickets were listed as $30/piece, presumably $60 for both. No-for both, it would have cost me over $88! Dream on! I'll just watch him on Youtube.
Behshad KThey suck ass a big one!
Kevin Mckenna
AnonymousI'm tired of paying Ticketmaster almost 50% of the cost of a ticket for smaller shows. They're screwing everybody but if you don't go with them, you don't go to shows. Somebody needs to stop this.
Riley Peper
Lawrence RachleffI believe in a business making a fair profit but paying upwards of 40% of the cost of the ticket in fees is a downright rip-off. Plus you have to pay a fee to print the ticket at home? Yet the postage and processing to mail the tickets are free? It makes no sense. In this age of computers and reduced human staff, the costs of fees should be going DOWN not UP!
AnonymousTicketmaster are scum, surely bands know this by now?! I don't get it - an online ecommerce system is not that hard to develop. Surely a good business opportunity there for someone to bring in a system where the venue get a decent slice if that's what it takes to get them to use it! Im atually in Scotland and they suck here too!!!!

AnonymousConvenience charges should be capped at 10% of the ticket price, and all fees should be disclosed at the BEGINNING of the transaction.
Jay UhlenhoffI can't stand Ticketmaster. They've damn near got a monopoly on first-hand ticket sales for so many events. Unbelievable. I'm passing this site on to all of my friends/family. I don't know anyone that isn't sick and tired of Ticketmaster.
James E. BurrellTechnology has given Ticketmaster the opportunity to maintain their monopoly in the ticket vendor business. People are fed up with the extra fees that really are an extra tax.
carmeloi bought 20$ tickets....service fees were 11$!!!!! half the cost of the ticket!!!!!!????? what service are they doin for me....there typing shit on the fuckin computer!!!!!!....fucken bullshit close these fuckers down

bobI hate ticket master
Jeff HughesWTH is up with ticket master.
John Ramos
Tim CarperTickets: $19.50 x 1 Convenience Charge: $9.15 x 1 Order Processing Fee: $5.15 x 1 Total Charge: $33.80

Jamie HodgsonFuck ticketmaster
Michael TunziTicketmaster has ripped me off countless times. It says you have 2:00 to fill out the form, I have filled it out in 30 seconds pressed ok, and the tickets are GONE. What a rip off
Jonny FinityTicketmaster has cornered the market and made it impossible for consumers to get accurate information about the amount they will be charged beforehand, since fees and prices "vary by venue" and are not disclosed until after the transaction. Ticket price should be listed INCLUDING ALL FEES AND CHARGES.
AnonymousI believe Ticketmaster and their sister company TicketWeb is completely unfair in their pricing standards of practice, and as the only way to purchase many tickets to various events, Ticketmaster should at the very least, show the total cost for each ticket with all fees at the beginning of the purchase. Thank you, Wally
