Name: Anthony Charnley on Jun 19, 2007Comments: The V+Box is a good product, but would be even better, and IMO transcend the Sky offering once upgraded to provide Tivo functionality. I would also like to see the ethernet and USB ports enab led as on the Topfield.Flag

Name: Andrew Birmingham on Jun 20, 2007Comments: It speaks volumes that there is still no better PVR on the market in the UK than a seven year old community supported device! The V+ box is a nice piece of hardware, but Tivo functionality would improve on it and show up the Sky+ box for the poor relation it truly is. Sky may want to throw itself around by wanting to control what it sees as the important programming but they could not compete with a Virgin / Tivo unit. Plus the tide of people using Sky+ as a reference point for talking about PVRs needs to be stemmed!Flag

Name: Simon Russell on Jun 20, 2007Comments: I own a TiVo and am a Virgin Media subscriber. The sole reason I have not moved to the V+ platform is because the TiVo is superior in every respect to the V+ PVR capability. Thus I never use the Cable remote, and therefore don't use the interactive services, VOD etc. I would buy a V+ box in a heartbeat if it adopted the TiVo platform.Flag

Name: Anonymous on Jun 20, 2007Comments: It's a no brainer! How many other PRVs have made it into popular culture (see Simpson's, ER, sex in the city, etc). TIVO has become like Hover or Xerox, synonymous with PVR. That combined with its the only bit of IT in my house so simple my gran can use it, and yes, if V+ worked like TIVO I'd rush out and buy one!Flag
