Name: John F. Hartnett on Sep 12, 2012Comments: I have lived these past ten years as a "prisoner" in my own home and have to pay tickets because I get penalized for having no driveway and street parking is impossible. As a senior citizen who is already overwhelmed with excessive taxes, it is making me re-think my current home ownership if this should continue! FIX IT NOW!!!Flag

But dont t go through all the effort if , like all the other traffic regulations, there is zero enforcement.Flag

Name: Cecelia Doyle on Sep 14, 2012Comments: I am a LB homeowner in the West End since 1979 but do not have a car. I would recommend that each homeowner receives a parking pass to use as they see fit. This would certainly help my guests and if I don't plan on guests on a particular day I could loan it to a neighbor who has more than one car.Flag

Name: Anonymous on Sep 19, 2012Comments: Two issues in the West End are that too many people do not use their garages and/or driveways and many households have too many cars. I should be sometime able to park in front of my house or at least by my house.Flag

Name: Denis Perry on Sep 20, 2012Comments: This nightmare has gone on loooong enough. Please, let's fix this! I have spent over a full hour looking for a parking spot on summer evenings. It's beyond ridiculous! The bar patrons take all the spots. We live here... we don't have a choice to go elsewhere!Flag

I volunteered to help him when the West End Neighbors proposed a pilot program on Ohio Av.. He never returned my phone calls and said nobody on Ohio was interested - a total lie!Flag

Name: Gregory Esposito on Sep 20, 2012Comments: For people who work late, or on weekends, our town has turned into one big parking spot search. The weekends have always been a challenge, but every day its an issue. We need a plan for residents, and we need it by next summer. I have lived in the West End for over 20 years, and this year has been, by far, the worst.Flag

Name: Albert A. DeSantis - 72 Nevada Ave. on Sep 20, 2012Comments: Nevada Ave, has a unique problem of non-resident illegal rentals that lie on our border with East Atlantic Beach. We have these renters who "bunker in" for up to 2 weeks. The Resident only Parking doesn't have to be 24x7. It could be resident only from midnight to 8 AM or some otherr similat time period. This allows for guests and prevents long term non-resident parking. Thank YouFlag
