| 751 | Derek Weiss | If you commit a crime against someone, the punishment should be much harsher than the suffering of the victim. PERIOD !
If you commit murder, the equivalent is death, and the murderer should be put to death, since no harsher option is available.
Definitely a minimum sentence for a murderer, at the very very least, no matter what the circumstance... NO MATTER WHAT.
Insane? Not criminally responsible? Too bad. Off to jail.
I would prefer the death penalty for that Vincent Li animal. |
| 752 | Rob Anderson | Rights? Not without responsibility. |
| 753 | Jeanne DiSalvatore | were is the justice for Tim, God help Tim |
| 754 | Terri | Lock him up and throw away the key! |

| 757 | Anonymous | We have absoluetly rediculous laws in this country that are nothing but a joke!!!! :((( |
| 758 | Zlata Kustric | Where is the justice for Tim? I agree with people here, this country is a joke and a disgrace, shame on those involved who had the gall to say "he was not responsible". Maybe when they let him out he could move in with the justice who read his sentence, or better yet, the doctor who evaluated him. For shame! |

| 761 | Amanda | This man should never get out - there is no justification for what he did. |
| 762 | Don Marshall | i say an eye for an eye forget jail, but if it has to be jail let it be general population not segragation. |
| 763 | Sylvie Lamoureux | |
| 764 | Kim Sutherland | If this man is well enough to no longer be considered insane, then he should have to serve the sentence given to an offender who is not insane. Taking another human life is murder, he should have to pay for it. |

| 767 | Marlene McGillis | my son was also murdered and no one yet have been brought to trial for his murder. Good people must stand and fight against this murderers once and for all |

| 775 | jim wilson | his sentence should equal time for crime. ie hospital time plus prison = total time. explained crime setence is 15 yrs , he is found rehibilitated after 4yrs he would do the balance 11 yrs in prison. its called justice jim |
| 776 | Mary Kathleen Akehurst | Priority must be given to laws that speak for the victim(s). |
| 777 | Anthony Asselin | |
| 778 | Tinnay | He should never be allowed out into society again! How unfortnate the police did not kill him when they had the opportunity, instead of waiting for him to crash through the bus window and then handcuff him! They taser/kill innocent victims in our airport, why not this man who obviously was committing a henious crime! |

| 782 | Anonymous | Why should other people, including children who are also in this care be at extreme risk because of this person. He is clearly a danger and we should be protected from him and other people like him. The murderers and criminals should be kept away from other people locked up forever. They are too unpredictable and dangerous. Give them their medication and lock them up.
Similar treatment should be done for the pedophiles, rapists etc. Currently, if they serve their entire sentence and do not get any treatment they will still be released. Lock them away forever too. It is our right to be safe. |

| 784 | Charlotte Kennedy | We need to change the criminal laws as a whole not just for murder while diagnosed as insane, but for any murder, physical abuse, child abuse, and attempted murder. |
| 785 | Lori Peterson | Detain him for life! |
| 786 | jerry junkala | it is about time we end this terrible concern for criminals, and make these people pay for their actions. and this insanity defence is ludicrous... |

| 789 | V. Sheppard | The safety of the general public outweighs the rights of any one individual found not criminally responsible for his/her actions. Li should never be freed and should always be in an institution. |

| 800 | John Hirchak | This is disgusting... how can we let someone like this re-enter a civilized environment? why are we protecting the rights of murderers? We should be protecting the rights of innocent people. Where he was insane or not, people should be accountable for their actions. If he is not accountable, then why have him enter society? he should be put to death in my eyes. he is a damaged person who is beyond rehabilitation. |
