Dear Times of India, Our Nation is at a critical Juncture. We have the largest Youth Population in the world right now. It is up to us to use this population to make India a superpower or to misuse it to break India. Threat looms large over India from all corners. China has been trespassing into our territory. Pakistan has been killing our soldiers. ISI, LeT, Al-Qaeda and people like Hafeez Sayid openly declare that they want to create Jihad in all parts of India. At such critical moments, media houses across the country need to assume the greatest responsbility: that of bringing the truth in front of the public. Instead, I see sensationalization in their content (especially in yours). Stop trying to cause clashes between the majority and the minority in the nation. Yes, it is good for you in the short term as it increases your revenue and I know that you would not survive without money. But, are there no better ways to earn it? Why do you think foreign newspapers openly mock news articles on your website? Why do you think people call ToI as the Toilet Paper News of India? Why look any further than your own comment box on your website? Can you not see the divide between the two communities growing there? Where are your moderators? What happened to sensible journalism? Please stop this while there is still time or you will be held responsible for anything bad that happens to the country. And a small sorry won't count at that time. Really Worried for the nation, An ex-reader.
