Name: Hull on Jul 12, 2007Comments: Parents just don't Understand. They think electronics that take up our time are bad. They think that because it is taking time out of our lives, it is something that should be stopped. This is especially noticeable with kids in school. They believe that items such as telivisons and computers make kids want to get away from their work and this may result in rushed homework. While this is true with a rare few, it is a negative stereotype. Parents always tell their children to not judge a book by its cover, but when it comes to electronics, they immediatley base their opinion on the stereotypes. A lot of my old friends have had problems like this. It didn't matter if my friends gave their opinions or the facts. Parents are teh dominant ones, and they overuse their power to throw away what you say and do whatever they believe is neccessary in their own opinion. Parents are dense at times. Just because a child lives with a parent, doesn't mean they are owned by them. Parents need to learn to face the facts and not just stick to their opinion, or else there whole life will end up in the shit tube.Flag
