| 4862 | Chuck Hooper | What a shame !!!2008 marks the first year that BMX racing (BICYCLE RACING) will become a medal sport at the Olympics and its doubtful that Canada,a huge cycling country ,will probably not have a male competitor that qualifies to go to that event (Ref: Pedal Magazine May 2008 page 78. )Tracks like Tim Da Silvas"Dream" should remain a reality not just for Tim and his family but as a souce of Canadian pride so their atheletes can remain competitive in the world. If anything money should be allotted to further these type of facilities and not tear them down...I strongly urge the Bicycle industry of Canada to press this issue further!!!!!!!! |

| 4870 | Candace Ball | Seems like the NEC needs to butt out and leave this small piece of land alone and allow people of all ages enjoy it and carry on a young mans life. I really hope someone at the NEC has a heart and allows the BMX track to stay open for all you riders and the young mans family. |

| 4874 | andy hughes | riding bikes saved my life, this bmx track must be saved, not just for Tim but for anyone who ever has or ever will ride a bike. These facilities keep us fit, healthy, and form part of a positive community spirit that transends race, colour, gender, wealth, sexual orientation, language, borders and age.
We all wish you the very best of luck with the campaign.
Ride in Peace Tim, you'll be forever missed. |

| 4882 | Anonymous | If this is a place that encourages physical activity for kids, it's worth keeping open. Everyone is constantly talking about childhood obesity. Let the kids have the chance to get fit, make new friends and enjoy the thrill of competition. |

| 4895 | Lynn Smith | I don't know what all the fuss is about. The track is only dirt! The kids are staying out of trouble and having fun and getting exercise. What more could anyone want?
As far as the track, well the Niagara Escarpment Commission is being unreasonable. The track is dirt, hills, nothing that can harm the environment. Lots of farmers have hills in their fields, are they going to go ask them to flatten the hills? This is crazy, I am sure that the Commission can find something more important to deal with then a pile of dirt, or maybe they are just avoiding any of the real problems and dealing with only the ones they can resolve without much effort. |
