What is your view on this case: It seems to me that nowadays Gays are the only one who have a right to express them self, well this is my take, Buju Banton has a right to say bum by by in a batty boy head and if a batty boy don't that then them can kill them self cause that is the only way he wont have to hear, Look at the amount of movies that insight violence on society and you don't any organisations coming down on them like how gays come down on Buju Banton, well God is on your side Buju so don't fret the truth will set you free, and to all gays remember Sodom and Gomorrah.

What is your view on this case: Well, thank you so much for standing on Buju's behalf. I'm right there with you. Yes, the ignorant Gays in the USA and worldwide do not understand Jamaica Patois and Jamaican idioms. Gays have taken a Jamaican idiom such as, "murda" which in JA dialect is really slang for something that is as Americans say "badass" and equated it with the dictionary meaning for "murder". Of course, this is absolutely wrong of Gays because they should study what the Jamaican meaning of the idiom is. Many times when you go to a dancehall and the music hits the people, dancehall people call out "murda". Certainly, none of those dancehall people are calling for someone to commit murder. Lets, all continue to let our voices be heard in defending our brother Buju. YaH Love!

What is your view on this case: I have had experience of a sham trail for my innocent 15 year old son that because of our ignorant and vunability we had poor represented and now my child is facing a 13 year/ life sentence for a fatal stabbing that he did not commit under the banner of a law called joint enterprise. The justice system are quite happy with the frame up they create to convict the innocent. Therefore it is absolutely crucial that Buju wins this trial first time round because it means it could take years and years to clear his name and to be released afterwards.

What is your view on this case: one of my personal favourite artists for over 10 years. I do not know if the charges are true or not, but he must have a fair trial. And, most of all, all hat he has done for reggae music must be aknowledged and his image as an artist must bot be tarnished by this event, nor by his opposers.

What is your view on this case: I think at the time when Buju Banton made this song, he was immature and there was a lack of global exposure. Also, initially when this song was produced, it was the starting point of his career and he was a young man. Now he is older, more mature and above all more globally aware. I think he now view this subject differently and more openly. He has also diverted from the original hard core dance-hall songs to more intellectual lyrics with stronger and more meaningful messages. We all make mistakes , and we all deserve a second chance. Please give him a fair and umbias trial. Free Buju Banton!!!

What is your view on this case: it is so pathetic that buju is being singled out when he has nothing to do with that kind of music for around more then ten years now. i just watched an interview with him today where he was talking against violence and the way artists influence the kids. that was a 2005 interview. when was the last time he sang about gays? i cant even remember and i am a true fan, i grew with buju, i'm only 25. i went from the rough boom bye bye days to, the love sponge days, to hills and valleys to rasta got soul. the people talking about this artist has no experience with reggae music, they are not fans and dont understand anything to do with it. to clear the air if you think i'm being biased, i'm not jamaican, i have never hated gays and i live in england where there are gays in abundance. and to add to this, i have seen those same gay people jump side to side with buju fans at notting hill carnival a few years ago. it is wrong to try punishing a person for something that they did in their teenage years. afterall, even bill clinton smoked marijuana in his teens and became one of the u.s most successful presidents. buju is a legend whether they like it or not and setting up an artist who is clearly trial to uplift his people in a positive way just confirm the messages in his songs, that the current system dont build great men or prophets, they only destroy them. yes he has made mistakes, but who is to judge? and is he still the same person he was in his teens? listen to all his albums, you'll find the answer. plus, these gay rights people dont even understand the lyrics so what are they talking about? they even put battey rider into the equation. get your facts and go look a some other artsist. free buju

What is your view on this case: one thing has nothing to do with the other. this just further proves my point. Trying their best to destroy this man because of a song he did 17 yrs ago. If they would let it go, it might just die down but obviouly they want attention and have nother better to do, so why not pick apart everything that he did. In this country, everyone is innocent until proven guity, this is not the case with peope from other countries, especially Jamaican, When will we ever get a fair chance. GLAAD is doing exactly what they claim is being done to them, promoting hate and speading lies.

What is your view on this case: This entire foolishness is based on genocide through music.Buju's upliftment of our nation is not accepted. His music so soulfully worded lifts my heart personally.I know he was set up, set up to stop sharing the messages of TRUTH. I know of many GLAAD people who love BUJU,,,THEY ARE JUST USING THEM AS AN EXCUSE. Many more artist will end up in this trap in future not to mention now ( Luciano, Ninja.etc they are now banning Capelton.) As long as they are uplifting our nation it's a problem..DONY FORGET DEM KILL BOB MARLEY!!!!!!!!!!!! FREE GARGAMEL(BUJU MI LOVE YOU! ALL CAPTIVES MUST BE FREEEEEEEEE!!!!)

What is your view on this case: God sees and he knows all, it is written all these things have to come to pass. If we don't accept their devilish views, soon we will be the outcast of society. We won't get jobs nor food to eat. Just remember we are here for a short while, hold the struggle, be strong and God will see us through. Do not confirm nor submit. Hell is much harsher than what ever we experience on earth. Just talk to God and he will show us the only way.

Get over it America, you hate him so trying to get one over him. You are pathetic, and as for Batty Rider maybe they need to go to listening lessons to actually understand what he is saying. As for the judge why push the case further back with no explanation??? Free Buju and go fight your wars in Iraq and Afgan!!!

The trial has been delayed numerous times and is allegedly to be held in September 2010, TEN entire months after his initial arrest. Mark is innocent until proven guilty but is being treated to the contrary. I believe in Mark's innocence and I will continue stand up for him and support him!

What is your view on this case: It is entrapment and if the state attorney had a case there wont be no need to postpone the trial. As long as Obama is in power, the divided race will use their powers to lock up the other race. If you are black american they lock you up in jail, if your black and of caribbean heritage, they lock you up and then deport you. So sad how such a beautiful country have such a nasty dark side.
