    Comments: I love the Tigers as much as anyone, and it hurts me more and more every year when stupid trades are made, sending my favorite players elsewhere (see Brad Ausmus, Frank Catalanotto, Gabe Kapler, Rob Fick, etc.) Ilitch should stick to hockey. No one doubts he did a great job with the Red Wings. Let someone else do as good a job with the Tigers.

    Comments: While I support your initiative, I think a better idea would be to petition MLB to move the Expos to Detroit, and move the current Tigers to Washington, Portland, San Juan, or wherever. The Expos aren't going to be in Montreal past 2004 anyway, and why should some "expansion" city get an established and competitive group of players, while Detroit--a CHARTER MEMBER of the American League for 103 years--fields what essentially amounts to an expansion team
