Comments: Actually my wife, Kim, is the one who got 4 tickets within a 2 week span on Lag Blvd southbound near Bishop Grandin in September. It costed us $900 in fines! All were through a poorly marked construction zone and she had no idea where it ended...hence the tickets. All were in a 80km zone, but marked down to 60km for a "construction zone". Her speeds were always under 80km....usually mid 70km. I cant tell you how much stress those tickerts caused....and for NO REASON. I was scared even looking into the mailbox fearing another photo radar ticket would arrive. GIVE US OUR $ BACK!

Comments: My husband was given a ticket in hte construction zone on McGilvary right by walmart on Monday Octoer 13 which was thanksgiving and there were no workers. He works for a car dealership and drives on a D plate therefore the ticket was sent to his work where they just pay the tickets and take the money off of your checque so he did not in fact plead guilty as he was planning on fighting it if it came in the mail.

Comments: We were also ticked unfairley at 7:30 at night when there was no workers present. We were going 70 in a 80 zone. I was not admitting guilt when we paid the ticket but I felt that I had no choice. They have to refund the tickets because their tax grab and intentions are obvious. Get rid of the red light cameras while you are at it!

Comments: Hi, this message is for Premier Gary Doer. Mr Doer my wife received a speeding ticket in a construction zone, on June 21, 2008 at 19:53 at night. First she was traveling 73 km in an 80km zone. Secondly the photo clearly shows a construction sign on the ground. My wife stated to me that their were no reduced speed signs in the construction zone. Could it be that this sign on the ground is the reduce speed sign Mr. Doer the law should be applied to everyone equally and in this case the situation really warrants a review of the photo ticket. I hope that all the people who where doing the speed limit that is usually posted on those routes where tickets were issued at times when no construction workers were workings are refunded. This is the right thing to do. Thank you.
