This petition has been set up to get as many English football supporters as possible to voice there opinions on the growing increase of ticket prices in England.
Football supporters in England are getting ripped off. Not long back there were comparasions in football ticket prices around the world, England been the rip off it is, finished top of the table. Season tickets in the english premier league for a adult costs between £300-£900. Where as if you where to go and buy a season ticket with AC Milan it would cost you around about £100. Only last season i went to see Barcelona play. A ticket cost me €20. Where as going to see Darlington play (English League Two Side) a month later cost me £15. Around about the same.
Many people will argue this case saying sponsorship isn't the same in England to other countries, but my reply back to that is, English football is broadcasted via television/internet/radio more than any other country in the world.
People now a days' sit at home and spend a couple of quid on beers and watch the match in the comfort of your own home. Rather than going to the ground and watching their teams play. Basically because they don't want to fork out between £20-£50 to watch 90 minutes of premier league football, when they can spend £10 on a pack of beers from their local stores.
So what are you waiting for? Sign our petition now. Leave a line on your opinion of the pricing structure. If enough people sign this petition i will print it off and send it to Football clubs in England and the FA. |
