It rarely gets anywhere near the promised download speeds and never get over 1mb upload or even near it. However, I have the view that netbooks are still not nearly powerful more than enough to be a good choice if you usually do projects that require lots of power, just like video touch-ups. But for internet surfing, microsoft word processing, and a lot other popular computer work they are just great, provided you don't mind the small screen size.
