Against hindering Thornton Business Marketing
On Tuesday May 12th, the City of Thornton will vote for approval on an item that will drastically limit organizations abilities to market the Thornton residents at events. Under the current policy proposal: a) businesses that attend ThorntonFest would ONLY be allowed to talk about their business from behind a table. b) chic-fil-a and other businesses can no longer pass out coupons while walking through a crowd c) the city may limit your ability to market but marketing the events as a "City Event" d) the city is HOPING to limit marketing on private land, (land not owned by the city) We are asking the city council to allow organization to utilize the best assets the community has, it's residents. Please reconsider or reevaluate your position that through this blanket policy, limits Thornton Organizations from doing what they do best, which is to create jobs, and build a better economy.
