The Toys That Cried - Save Our Tip Shop

 .

OUR PRECIOUS RE USE AREA IS THREATENED WITH CLOSURE BY THIS JUNE 2010 AND THE MOVING OF IT'S RESALE AREA TO MILES AWAY,
COSTING EXTRA FUEL AND EXTRA FUNDING FOR THE PREMISES.

We are told, the small area, verges that surround the existing site and the main shop area roughly 10M X 5M
is needed for recycling not re use items.

There can be no more important feature of a recycling facility for local people than the ability to bring years
more usage of toys, sofas, bicycles, fire surrounds, garden furniture, pictures and particularly spare parts
(That in themselves allow further life to other machines that would otherwise be scrapped).

Pensioners can treat their granchildren without saving up for months,
first time buyers can build that patio, or lay a garden path without breaking their strict financial restraints.
Those who can afford to leave a much loved but perhaps slightly chipped piece of their household goods
will know it will be going to a good home thanks to the caring staff that know their customers.

Many people share their cars and trailers, even making the trip to the tip a family outing that makes
it viable in one journey saving on fuel costs, reducing that ever valuable carbon footprint, making
sure that children learn the importance of re use of their once much loved toys in a visual experience
whilst also depositing rubbish that has to be crushed or used, in the worst scenario for a landfill

THESE SHOPS SHOULD BE OF NATIONAL CONCERN IN EVERY COUNTY OF ENGLAND.

These are OUR own products, on which we have already paid tax sometimes twice over. They are valuable and should not be thrown into a skip to be resold at a venue miles away from where they are deposited, by people who do not know thier clients and their needs
