Michael Martin should resign as Speaker of the House of Commons. He has shown himself to be a partisan Speaker, out of touch with the people and incapable of presiding over the House of Commons. The widespread abuses of the expenses system by MPs happened on his watch. The buck stops with him. He should resign immediately as Speaker.
