| 207 | Amy Jenkins | The point was pre exsisting before the new apartments were built. If there is an issue with noise this should have been given consideration prior to the apartments being built. If the noise is an issue the aprtments should not have been given planning and the building could have been used for commercial purposes that would not have been affected. |
| 208 | Anonymous | Keep the point open. It is a great venue with the period building and varied bands. It is one of the top venues in the capital city |
| 209 | Aled Elwyn Jones | Why move to live next to a live music venue if the noise bothers you? The Point was there first and is the best live music venue in Cardiff. |
| 210 | Tom | The Point is my favourite venue, and VERY important for Cardiff's music and art. |

| 216 | Ruth McLean | This venue is essential for the history of Cardiff, for an alternative atmosphere in a social environment and as a picturesque landmark!! |
| 217 | Kieran Prout | It seems absurd to close down such a good venue for live music in such a pretty area. If people live in the city aren't they meant to expect some noise. |
| 218 | Anonymous | the nicest venue and the best sound in cardiff, some hugely memorable gigs there over the last three or four years including one just this week which those attending will remember for a good while.
cultural spaces like this ADD to a city. unfortunately, some will forever be selfish enough to want to deprive others. please don't let it happen here. |
| 219 | Adrienne Walker | The Point is a fantastic venue for a variety of creative media and it would be absolutely ridiculous to contemplate shutting it down. We've lost the Coal Exchange in recent years, let's not do something silly again. |
| 220 | Ollie Morrissey | This venue is one of the best, if not THE best in Cardiff for live music. Beautiful venue, brilliant sound, awesome lineups and friendly staff. This venue hosts a wide variety of acts. Closure would be a disaster for the area. |

| 233 | paul clarke | If Cardiff has aspirations to be any kind of City of Culture it has to start valuing its cultural jewels - the Point being a prime example. I've seen numerous glorious gigs there, and staged at least one (the Meltdown/No Fit State Circus 20th Birthday gig) and have savoured its magnificent acoustics, inventive booking policy, and delightful intimacy. That one complaint can tip it into legal complications would be laughable if it wasn't so tragic. Its high time Cardiff developed a genuine cultural policy and recognised those assets its should strive to nurture and support.

| 236 | Anonymous | Surely the point (sic) is the late licence. I suspect nobody is objecting so much to The Point as a live music venue. More likely they are objecting to it playing live music till 3am in the morning and then having drunken punters noisily leaving.
Concerts are fine as they invariably finish at around 11pm, the same as other live music venues. Would you like to live next door to a 3am nightclub? |

| 240 | David Milford` | I visited Cardiff two years ago and the best part of my whole visit was The Point. It's a great, unique venue and allows some of the fantastically talented artists and musicians you have in Cardiff to show what they can do. Please work with them to keep The Point open - most cities in the UK would be lucky to have such a place. Don't let it it be lost just through not working to deal with the problems it has. KEEP THE POINT ALIVE! David, St. Albans. |
| 241 | Jamie Evans | People shouldn't have bought their houses next to a music venue if they weren't prepared to put up with the noise! I'm sure it's not 'that' bad... |
| 242 | Bethan Dalton | don't shut it don't |

| 245 | Nena Lovesey | This venue is amazing! I have loved my visits to The Point. If you close The Point, Cardiff will lose it's most unique venue.
The Point has been there for years. If someone doesn't want to be disturbed by music, they shouldn't move near one of the busiest areas of Cardiff! |

| 247 | Alun Davies | Probably the best live music venue in Cardiff. Would be an utter disaster if it closed. |
| 248 | Paul Brown | |
| 249 | ben havell | this is one of the best venues in cardiff, it would be very sad to lose it. |
